The first jodi to get eliminated from the Bigg Boss 12 house, is Kriti Verma & Roshmi Banik. The two got evicted because of the lowest votes they got as compared to others in the house. After the two got evicted, Kriti and Roshmi talked about Anup Jalota & Jasleen Matharu's relationship. Until now, everyone thought it to be a publicity stunt and that they are doing it just for the heck of it. But later on, they revealed that people inside the house saw true love between the two.
When asked about Anup and Jasleen’s relationship, Kriti said, “Clear love hai. Starting m hume b baakiyon ki tara thora sa doubt hua tha. But as days passes by, hume pyar dikhta hai.” Roshmi instantly interrupted and remarked, “It is a very cute vichitra indeed and lovey-dovey relation. Un logon ka equation normal girlfriend boyfriend se kaafi different hai isliye shayad logon ko samjh nai aa ra but believe us hum log reh chuke hain. Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu’s relationship has jerked everyone ever since the show started off and their equation was revealed. Jasleen herself admitted before entering the house that her relation with Anup ji is going to shock everyone as no one knows about it. “This is going to come as a huge shock to my parents and friends as no one is aware of my relationship with Anup Jalota ji. We have been dating each other for the last three and a half years. We usually don’t get time to spend with each other in the outside world due to our busy schedules, but now with the help of Bigg Boss, we will get to do so. Also, we will get to know if we can stay together forever,” Jasleen remarked.
In the same interview, she also shared if their age-gap ever bothered them, she was quoted as saying, “Age gap has never bothered us and now once we go inside the house we will get to know the real reaction of people about our relationship. Since until now, nobody knew anything. So, whether good, bad or ugly, we will get reactions from the house."
On the other hand, Jasleen’s father, Kesar Matharu, disapproves of their relationship and once said that he would stop talking to her if this turns out to be true. Kesar ji had told the Times of India, "I am hurt, and I would never accept their relationship. We were not informed that she is dating Anup Jalota. We were told that they were going inside as guru-shishya Jodi. I was shocked and was surprised when she spoke about being in a relationship with him for the past 3 years. I am getting calls from my relatives who are asking me if the news is true. They are telling me how did I allow her to have an affair with him. Woh bolte hain humari beti hoti toh hum kaat ke phek dete (had jasleen been their daughter they would have killed her). But I don't think I have the right to do that. I will never do that to my daughter. I know she has done a mistake and I pray to God that she changes her decision after coming out of the house.”
He further added, "As a father, I have always supported Jasleen and have brought her up like a son. I got her trained in kickboxing, she wanted to learn singing I supported her in that too. But now my relatives taunt me by saying that she has taken advantage of the freedom given to her. As a father, I will always pray for her well-being and want her to grow in life, but I will never accept her relationship. Her mother and I are equally hurt. She has stopped talking to me since the time she saw them on Bigg Boss 12. We are not able to go out as wherever we go people ask us about Jasleen and Anup.”
