Krishna Mukherjee, one of the famous faces of the hit television serial, Ye Hai Mohabbatein, recently got married on March 13, 2023, to Chirag Batliwalla. This Bengali-Parsi duo had their wedding ceremony in Goa. Krishna and Chirag's mesmerizing bond made the fans spellbound, and they showered their love and blessings on this newlywed couple.
In an interview with Etimes, Krishna Mukherjee shared how she met the love of her life. She said it was during one of her holidays when she first met Chirag on a cruise. Krishna also shared how Chirag's care and support owned her heart. She also mentioned that it is hard to find such a supportive and understanding guy like Chirag. According to Krishna, she and Chirag dated for almost one year before marriage. In her words:
"I had gone with my friends on a holiday and met Chirag on the cruise. He was so nice, and caring and he became a friend instantly. We dated for almost a year. You don't find such guys now who are so supportive and understanding. I am happy that I have found a great guy in Chirag."

This cutesy couple can often be seen on social media. Undoubtedly their pictures say a lot more than words. The actress also shared how supportive her in-laws are and how she is treated like a daughter and not as a bahu. In the same conversation, when she was asked about their bonding, Krishna replied:
"I don't know how to cook non-vegetarian food and my husband loves eating non-vegetarian food. He was joking with me about making good chai and cooking food and we laughed how it will be a big task for me to cook non-vegetarian food. My in-laws are very supportive. My mother-in-law has not once made me feel that I am a bahu, she treats me like her daughter."
Just like Krishna Mukherjee's engagement ceremony, which was nothing, but a fairy tale, her wedding was also surreal. On her wedding day, Krishna indeed looked dreamy. She donned a red-white lehenga, which made her look like a goddess. The bride paired her lehenga with a gorgeous matha patti and heavy jewellery. She opted for the combination of chura and mukut, which shows the unique pair of Bengali and Parsi rituals, respectively. On the other hand, hubby Chirag too complemented his wife in a typical Bengali look by wearing a white dhooti.
On her IG handle, Krishna Mukherjee shared a mesmerizing video showing her entry as a bride, reflecting a Bengali ritual known as Subhodristi. In this ritual, the bride has to take an entry by covering her face with a Paan patta (Betel leaf). After to that, the would-be husband and wife take a moment of eye contact. When asked about her honeymoon destination, Krishna Mukherjee replied her husband kept it a "secret". But they will soon head out for their honeymoon. Krishna said:
"Chirag has kept it a secret. We are happy that the wedding went well and soon we will head for our honeymoon."
