Krishi Thapanda Was Denied Final Viewing Of Friend, Vaishak's 'Parthiv Sharir' By His Wife

Kannada actress, Krishi Thapanda's name is in the headlines after her friend, who was a 45-year-old businessman, took his life at her Bengaluru residence. As per reports, the friend has been identified as Vaishak, and he was staying at the actress's residence for the past few days. The incident happened on June 24, 2026, while the actress was away from her home.

Krishi Thapanda was denied entry at his friend's funeral by his wife 

Vaishak Upadhyaya was found dead at the actress' home, and police have been inquiring into the matter. A complaint was registered about an unnatural death report. He was extremely close to Krishi Thapanda, and his wife, Megha, has mentioned her name in the complaint. After the postmortem, Vaishak's family donated his eyes and his last rites were performed at the Chamrajpet crematorium in Bengaluru. 

As per reports, when Krishi arrived at the crematorium to give her last goodbye to her friend, Vaishak's family members, including his wife, raised objections and did not allow her to view the body. In fact, Vaishak's father-in-law asked her to leave the funeral, and she left the crematorium without speaking to the media. 

Vaishak's wife, Megha, accused the Kannada actress, Krishi Thapanda, of being behind his death

Vaishak's family had filed a complaint against Krishi. She clearly stated that she does not suspect anyone behind her husband's death, but mentioned that Vaishak's friendship with Krishi was a reason for disputes within the family. She revealed that she found out about their alleged relationship after seeing a video on YouTube. When she asked him to end his association with the actress, he agreed but stayed in contact with Krishi. 

After this, Vaishal stopped talking to Megha directly, and their communications were limited to WhatsApp. She alleged that he had not returned home for a month and was staying with the actress. In the complaint, Megha also revealed that Vaishak had sent a WhatsApp message just before committing suicide. He asked whether their son was at home, and she replied that he was. And soon, RR Nagar police contacted her father and informed the family about his death. 

When the family reached the place, they found his body on the floor. Police and Krishi were already at the scene. For the unversed, Vaishak married his wife, Megha in October 2010, and they also have a son. Police have understood the matter, and they are investigating it to determine what led to Vaishak's death. As per a report by The Hindu, it was revealed that Vaishak lived in Girinagar, but he was staying in an apartment in RR Nagar. However, he was alone inside Krishi's house when he took his life, but no suicide note or video message has been retrieved from the place.

Another report claimed that Vaishak tried to call Krishi before taking his life, but she was in Nelamangala and wasn't able to pick up his call. He later sent her messages revealing his decision to take his own life. When Krishi saw it, she instantly contacted his family members, and his relatives rushed to her apartment, but he was dead by the time they reached the place. 

After this, Vaishak's father filed a complaint with the police, and authorities have been investigating the matter. The reports claim that Vaishak had been through legal trouble. He was arrested in an extortion matter and a threat case, but was released on bail. So far, Krishi has not shared any public statement on the matter.
