On May 11, 2026, which was Mother’s Day, Kylie Jenner took to her Instagram handle to share a family photo. The cutesy snap also included her grandmother, MJ. Her appearance instantly went viral and her fans were extremely happy with it. At that time, multiple users showered love on MJ and demanded more posts with her. Amid her death, the Mother’s Day post serves as her last appearance.
When Kris Jenner revealed what she admires the most about her mother
Amid MJ’s tragic death, an old interview of Kris Jenner has resurfaced. In the same, Kris opened up about her mother and revealed a quality she admires the most. When asked about why MJ does not live with her, Kris Jenner explained that she likes to be independent. Sharing details about their bond, Kris said:
"We help each other with what we’re going to watch. She loves Dateline as much as I do. So, we’re like, ‘What murder mystery are we going to watch tonight?’ And then she’ll say, ‘Okay, I was sad today. So, we’re going to watch a comedy.’ We have great fun just, you know, doing that together. She lives a mile from my house. I try to get her to move in with me, but she refuses. She’s so independent, which I admire and love."
Kardashian-Jenner family pens emotional note after MJ’s demise
Soon after MJ passed away, her daughter, Kris Jenner took to her Instagram handle to pen a heartbreaking tribute. She shared a beautiful photo of her mother and along with it, she revealed how MJ was the heart of their entire family. She recalled the good times and expressed her gratitude for the lessons MJ taught her. Despite this, Kris did not reveal the cause of her death.
After Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian penned an emotional note. She shared a series of photos and along with it, Kim described her grandmother as a ‘best friend’, ‘gossip buddy’ and ‘forever twin’. In her note, Kim also recalled the time when MJ gave her the opportunity to work at her store. She concluded the note by hoping that MJ is in heaven. A part of her note can be read as:
"My sweet Grandma MJ, my best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin... You taught all of us the importance of family, and those values are something we’ll carry with us forever!!!!! You were the woman who showed me what it meant to be a hardworking businesswoman. You gave me my very first job at your store in San Diego and taught me lessons about work ethic, strength, and confidence that I’ve carried with me ever since."
