On January 16, 2022, Kiara took to her IG stories to share a romantic shot from their film, Shershaah and penned a sweet note tagging Sidharth atop. Reposting the picture, Sidharth shared his gratitude and wrote a thank you note on top of it with a hug and heart emojis, "Thanks Ki". Kiara's message can be read as:
"Happy happy birthday dearest one."

Sidharth and Kiara were in the Maldives to welcome New Year 2021, and also the actress had gone to meet Sid's parents. Later in an interview with the Filmfare, Kiara had talked about her dating life. Sharing about the same when the actress was asked about the last time she had gone on a date, Kiara had replied:
"Last time I went on a date was… It was sometime this year. And it's been only two months for this year, so you do the math."
In the same interview, when Kiara was asked what would her reaction be if she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her, the actress' reply was spot on. Kiara had said:
“Then I will block him and never look back. No forgetting. I don’t go back. That’s a complete no-no in a relationship.”

On July 31, 2020, Kiara Advani had turned 28 and her alleged boyfriend, Sidharth Malhotra, had the most adorable wish for her. Taking to his IG stories, Sidharth had showered love on Kiara by sharing a surprisingly shocked picture of her. In the photo, Kiara could be seen posing with the cake and putting a 'Happy Birthday' GIF Sidharth had written, "Happy birthday sunshine girl, big love and hug" atop it.
During promotions of their film, Shershaah, in an interview with ETimes, Kiara had opened up about her co-star, Sidharth and had mentioned him as one her 'closest friends' from the film fraternity. She had shared:
"As a co-star, Sidharth is extremely driven and focused. He loves to prep a lot and does a lot of readings. That’s very similar to the way I like to work on a film. So, in that sense, we got along very well. As a friend, I’d say he is one of my closest friends in the industry. I think, even as a friend, he’s full of life and always fun to be around."
