Recently, the youngest of them all, Kylie Jenner, is expanding her million-dollar empire with a new clothing line.
The 26-year-old socialite and media personality took to her official Instagram account on October 24, 2023, to announce her upcoming business venture, Khy. The brand will be available to the public from November 1, 2023. However, people seem disinterested in Kylie’s latest project. Why so?

Kylie Jenner teased a new fashion line with an Instagram post featuring her wearing a black leather trench coat made of faux leather and red stilettoes. She captioned the post as ‘Meet Khy’ and tagged the account by the name ‘Khy’. The tagged account has photos which inform that it is a clothing brand and that it is soon going to be available to the public. The fashion brand, Khy won’t be the first time that Kylie would be venturing into the fashion industry.
She launched a swimwear line, Kylie Swim, in 2021, along with her sister, Kendall. It was met with severe backlash due to the poor quality of the swimsuits. Hence, it was shut down in 2022. However, it seems Kylie is not going to back down unless she achieves success in the fashion industry just like her elder sisters did. Kylie Jenner’s half-sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian have established their fashion brands in the market. Khloe is the founder of Good American, a denim-focused brand launched in 2016, while in 2019, Kim launched her shapewear company, Skims.

However, people do not seem pleased with Kylie Jenner’s Khy as they speculate that the quality of the clothes will be poor, just like her swimwear line, and she would charge hefty sums for the same. The fashion watchdog group, Diet Prada, shared an Instagram post on the same, and people have left numerous comments on the post. ‘The world doesn’t need this’ commented one user.
