She claimed that he had to take the drastic step because he was getting death threats and faced severe online harassment.
Autumn claims Ken Urker slept with a gun as he feared for his life
Autumn Urker recently sat down for an interview with the Daily Mail following her brother's death. She alleged that Ken was taking precautions due to the online abuse and public scrutiny he faced due to his relationship with Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Autumn also alleged that Ken's messages showed that he was getting death threats. In fact, his private information was also shared on the internet before his sudden death.
Autumn clarified that Ken was not afraid that Gypsy would physically harm him. Rather, she blames the death threats and online harassment, which forced her brother to keep a gun nearby. She also mentioned that he spoke to her and his friends about the stress caused by the harassment.
In turn, she had warned him about his relationship with Gypsy, but did not pay heed to her advice. At the same time, Autumn rejects the notion that her brother intentionally took his life. In fact, she shared that this idea is deeply painful for their family.
Autumn also recalled a call with Ken, the night before he died. According to her, they made some plans for his birthday. It included a video call with his family members. Taking note of all these insights, she believes there is some other reason behind his death. In her words"
"I don't think he would ever do this to Aurora or my mother, and the family doesn't think he did this on purpose, either. I'm trying to respect my brother and give him dignity. That's why I'm being open, because that's not fair to him."
In the same conversation, Autumn accused Gypsy of misrepresenting some aspects of their relationship. She also called out her claims about their engagement and the condition in which Ken was found. According to TMZ, the duo broke up about a month before his death. Yet, they continued to stay in touch to co-parent their daughter. Meanwhile, Gypsy's strained bond has also extended to his memorial arrangements.
Autumn has claimed that her family is worried that, due to their conflict with Gypsy, she might not let them see Aurora. She also revealed that her mother has requested the family to remain on good terms with Gypsy for the child's sake. However, Gypsy has a different story to tell.
For those who don't know, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has also shared her take on the online abuse faced by Ken. She shared a Reddit forum that reportedly mocked his appearance and sexuality. In fact, it also questioned their relationship. She has argued that the harassment took a mental toll on her ex-boyfriend's mental health. In turn, Gypsy has also started a petition called Kenan's Law to get stronger action from social media platforms against consistent online harassment.
However, Gypsy has also countered Autumn's accusations. She gave a statement to US Weekly and admitted that the tension between him and Autumn was no secret. Gypsy claimed that Autumn had disapproved of her relationship with Ken from the beginning.
She has also accused Autumn of using the situation for financial gain and denied all the allegations she made against her. Still, reports indicate that Gypsy is welcomed at Ken's private viewing and may attend his funeral in Texas.

Ken Urker was found unresponsive at his Louisiana home on October 1, 2026, after his relatives grew concerned when he failed to return their calls or messages. According to some initial reports, his family members had requested a welfare check on him that evening. Later, the authorities found drug paraphernalia, a syringe, shot glasses, 6and a holstered handgun at the scene. However, there was no proof of any gunshot wound.
Gypsy feels that Ken died from an overdose. But it cannot be confirmed until his medical examiner's findings and toxicology results arrive. Authorities have found no evidence of any foul play, but they have continued the investigation.
