Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif's alleged feud might have faded away with time. However, if reports are to be believed, they once had a very serious catfight between them since the time when Deepika’s ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, started dating Katrina and allegedly cheated on the former because of the latter. Much was written and talked about the diva's alleged fight, and Deepika had also mentioned once on the 'Koffee' couch that she would never invite Katrina to her wedding. Years later, now it seems that everything has become better, and the divas often get spotted talking good about one another.
Recently, we stumbled upon a video from one of Katrina Kaif's old interviews, wherein she was asked whether she was invited to Deepika Padukone's wedding with Ranveer Singh. To this, Katrina gave a witty answer and mentioned that she is one such actress, who always gives answers instinctively and emotionally. Thus, talking along the same lines, the actress jokingly revealed that she felt being invited to the wedding and answered with the same notion. However, Katrina's answers were completely different to the reports that surfaced earlier, which mentioned that she wasn't invited to Deepika's wedding. Katrina said:
"People have asked this question but if I can just answer it simply the best way that I feel I was invited to the wedding and I'm a person I think who reacts mostly quite instinctively and emotionally and I felt it in my heart to go and we went and we had a wonderful time."

In the same conversation, Katrina talked about the imaginary situations she had spent with Deepika at the latter's wedding. Further, Katrina mentioned that there was warmth between everyone present at Deepika and Ranveer's Italy wedding, and she was extremely happy to be there. However, mentioning why she might not get any further invitations to any of their functions, Katrina shared:
"We danced to the wee hours of the morning and I think I ate half the chocolate. So I might not be invited to any of their functions again (laughs). Um but we had a very wonderful time. There was a lot of warmth between everyone and it was, it was really beautiful and we had a really nice time and I was very happy to be there. Thank you."

On November 15, 2018, Deepika and Ranveer took to their respective social media handles and shared their official wedding pictures for the first time. Soon, Katrina, who let bygones be bygones, commented on Deepika’s post. Katrina's comment could be read as, “@deepikapadukone congratulations to you both”, followed by a heart emoji.

On November 21, 2023, Deepika and Ranveer hosted a star-studded wedding reception for all their B-town friends at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The event was also graced by Katrina Kaif, who looked graceful in a cream-coloured saree. However, Katrina was only invited to the party by Ranveer. As per a SpotboyE report, Katrina was invited just a few days ago by a special invitation message from Ranveer Singh. A source close to the portal revealed:
"Katrina received the invitation four days ago and she is gearing up to attend the event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk into the party with the superstar and (Bharat) director Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to the bash. While the actress (Deepika) did not send a text to Katrina, Ranveer ensured that he did.
