She took the help of a crypto expert and found out that it only contained USD 3. She said:
"He hasn't scammed me for money, but I feel he has scammed me, and because he fabricated a person that doesn't exist. When you see someone who you think is gorgeous, it's a bonus. Yeah, I've got all this and that because I've never been with a guy [who has lots of money]. So of course, it all sounds attractive, and not only that, I did fall in love with this man. We get on. He's intelligent. We have fun, but it's him who keeps going on [saying], 'I've got this and that.'"
Katie revealed that Lee had bragged about having a big house in Dubai that was worth millions. However, she made it clear that she didn't fall in love with him for his money, and she didn't care if he had money or not. She stated tthat he had been lying about having USD 50 million in his crypto wallet for nine months. But when she met a friend who does crypto, he told her the truth. She said:
"Obviously I just got played. [And then Lee says] 'Don't you worry, by Wednesday, you will see there's $50million in it. I'll even pay you guys money.' I just showed [GMB] five minutes ago. I went, 'There you go. There's the wallet. It's the same amount. There's nothing. There's nothing pending. There's nothing."
