Travis Clark made a shocking revelation with an Instagram story. He made the confession just a day after Katie Blates announced that she had a miscarriage. Travis, in his note, shared that he was unfaithful to his wife and had an affair. It seems like Travis has been dealing with a lot after his wife lost their third child, and he might have realised his mistake. In his Instagram note, Travis apologised to Katie. He confessed that he was unfaithful to her. He accepted that he had an affair and had broken her trust many times. While he didn't give any excuse, he took the responsibility for failing as a husband.

Travis seems to be compensating for the loss of Katie and wants to take responsibility for being a missing husband when she needed him most. He apologised for the pain, humiliation and betrayal he caused his wife. Travis further urged people on the internet to respect his wife's privacy, as she is going through the most difficult time. He accepted that his apology cannot repair what he broke, and that forgiveness is neither something he deserves nor can ask for. A part of his Instagram note can be read as:

"I know that words don’t begin to express the damage I caused or the depth of the hurt I’ve brought into her life, but I am truly sorry. I’m sorry for the pain, humiliation, and betrayal I caused my wife through my choices. I understand that an apology doesn’t repair what I broke, and forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for. I am taking responsibility by getting help and doing the work to change and become a more honest and accountable man, regardless of outcome. I ask for privacy and grace for Katie as she processes this in her own time."

Who is Katie Blates' husband, Travis Clark?

Katie Blates' husband, Travis Clark, is 25 years old. He was born and brought up in New Jersey. His parents, Michael Clark and Carla Clark, have a band named Clark Family Band, a Christian music group. They travel and perform at churches across the U.S. Travis grew up in a musical and ministerial environment. Later, Travis pursued his educaion in nursing school and started his health career. Travis has also worked as a media assistant and youth choir leader at his family's church.

Katie Blates announced her miscarriage 

On January 16, 2025, Katie took to Instagram and shared a video documenting her pregnancy journey. Along with it, she wrote that she would be spending the rest of her life missing the baby. In the clip, a voiceover revealed that she would keep asking 'why' to God and would never understand the reason he gives for taking her child away. The voiceover said, "I will ask God why for the rest of my life. And never will I come to understand it. Even if God himself came in front of me and told me the reason, I don’t think I will accept it."

The video shows Katie picking baby clothes after announcing her pregnancy to Travis. It also showed a glimpse of when she lost her child in the hospital. The audio stated that some loves are too hard to bear, and with great love comes great pain. And if love could have saved her child, she would have lived forever. 

Talking about Katie and Travis, who got married in December 2021. The couple is blessed with two children, one daughter named Hailey and a son named Harvey. Katie is famously known for being part of her family's UPtv reality series, Bringing Up Bates, which documents her parents, Gil and Kelly Jo Bates and their 19 children for over 10 seasons.
