She recently had a devastating miscarriage, and within a few hours, her husband, Travis Clark, accepted that he cheated on her while she was pregnant. The news sparked widespread murmur online, as their fans noticed Travis had disappeared from Katie's Instagram. Now, we found out that the couple had quit making their YouTube videos a month ago.

For the unversed, Katie Bates and Travis Clark had announced quitting YouTube just a month ago, before the latter confessed to cheating on his wife. The video on YouTube is dated December 19, 2025 and is titled "Our final YouTube video, thanks for everything." In the mid-video, Travis and Katie sat down on their couch and shared the big decision.

Travis announced the same thing, saying it is their final video, while Katie cannot believe it. Travis revealed that he had suggested creating a YouTube channel and made the first video on an iPhone, and now they have come a long way. He shared that it has been an amazing journey. He further added that, but he is starting school and their kids are growing up, so managing YouTube is a lot of work. While they enjoy doing it, he has to attend school, and it is time to stop the channel. 

So, in short, Travis and Katie clarified that they won't be making content for YouTube. They mentioned that this is going to be the end of their four years of YouTube journey. Katie added that her husband, Travis, had sleepless nights editing content for their channel and whatnot. The couple clarified that they would be active on their other social media platforms.

Travis, in his note, shared that he was unfaithful to his wife and had an affair. It seems like Travis has been dealing with a lot after his wife lost their third child, and he might have realised his mistake. In his Instagram note, Travis apologised to Katie. He confessed that he was unfaithful to her. He accepted that he had an affair and had broken her trust many times. While he didn't give any excuse, he took the responsibility for failing as a husband.

He apologised for the pain, humiliation and betrayal he caused his wife. Travis further urged people on the internet to respect his wife's privacy, as she is going through the most difficult time. He accepted that his apology cannot repair what he broke, and that forgiveness is neither something he deserves nor can ask for. A part of his Instagram note can be read as:

"I know that words don’t begin to express the damage I caused or the depth of the hurt I’ve brought into her life, but I am truly sorry. I’m sorry for the pain, humiliation, and betrayal I caused my wife through my choices. I understand that an apology doesn’t repair what I broke, and forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for. I am taking responsibility by getting help and doing the work to change and become a more honest and accountable man, regardless of outcome. I ask for privacy and grace for Katie as she processes this in her own time."

Katie Blates' husband, Travis Clark, is 25 years old. He was born and brought up in New Jersey. His parents, Michael Clark and Carla Clark, have a band named Clark Family Band, a Christian music group. They travel and perform at churches across the U.S. Travis grew up in a musical and ministerial environment. Later, Travis pursued his education in nursing school and started his health career. Travis has also worked as a media assistant and youth choir leader at his family's church.
