Indian film editor, Kalaivanan R, was the first to share his thoughts on the much-awaited film, Karuppu, starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan. According to reports, Kalai's remarks at the film's audio launch have set exceptionally high expectations for the film. The editor has lauded not just the acting but also the film's storyline. Additionally, Filmibeat has further shared that Kalaivanan has called Karuppu a "mass entertainer" that will be fun from start to finish.

According to reports, Kalaivanan R also revealed the film will be a visual treat, designed perfectly for a big-screen experience. He asserted that the movie blends entertainment and strong visuals in a way that will resonate with audiences from all walks of life.
