Meanwhile, Karol G’s upcoming performance at the event is already creating headlines. While Karol has not shared the details about how much she was paid, she is reportedly getting somewhere between USD 5 million and 10 million, considering that she is a headliner.

Notably, the figures were first shared in 2025 by the senior director of live music and touring at Billboard, Dave Brooks, while speaking on The Town with Matthew Belloni. In case the performance is cancelled for some reason, certain artists give up a portion of what they were supposed to be paid. However, the salary for the headliners has reportedly been more on certain occasions than what Brooks has claimed in his interview. 

Karol G’s show will be available for live streaming online

The official Instagram handle of Coachella revealed through a post on April 10, 2026, that her show will start at 9:55 p.m. at the Coachella stage. Notably, the performance will end by 11:55 p.m. Just like most of the shows scheduled at Coachella between April 10 and April 12, 2026, Karol G’s show will also be available for live streaming on YouTube. This is not the end, as Karol G will be performing at Coachella on the second weekend of the event, scheduled between April 17 and April 19, 2026. During her recent interview with Rolling Stone, Karol expressed her excitement to be a part of the show, as she said:

“Being the first Latina headliner sets a really high bar for the show I need to reach. I want to deliver something from my heart that represents my love for my community and my fans.”

Karol G’s singles have already created records with billions of views on YouTube. Her net worth is reported to be around USD 25 million. According to Grey Journal, Karol’s tours have also contributed to her wealth, with the Manana Sera Bonito earning almost USD 313 million. She has additionally earned a lot from the streaming figures on Spotify and signed an agreement worth USD 100 million with Interscope Records in 2023. Karol’s last album was Tropicoqueta, released in 2025. The project grabbed the third spot on the US Billboard 200 and remained at the top of the other charts for a long time.
