Granddaughter of Raj Kapoor, daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita, sister of Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor was born to act. After making her debut in the year 2000 with Refugee, there was no looking back for this gorgeousness. With splendid performances in movies like Chameli, Omkara, Jab We Met, Kurbaan, Udta Punjab, and many more, Kareena has always proved her mettle in acting. On October 16, 2012, Kareena had tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan after dating him for five years. After four years of their marital bliss, the lovely couple had welcomed their son, Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016. The duo had announced the news of their second pregnancy recently and are all set to welcome a new member in 2021.
On September 21, 2020, Kareena Kapoor Khan turned 40 and celebrated her birthday with her loved ones. For the celebrations, her father, Randhir, mother, Babita, sister, Karisma with her daughter, Samiera turned up at Kareena's place. Karisma took to her IG handle to share glimpses of the celebrations where the birthday girl looked gorgeous in a printed teal green coloured kaftan. Her husband, Saif Ali Khan complemented her in a maroon kurta and white pyjama whereas, Karisma and her daughter, Samiera twinned in black. Along with the pictures, Karisma wrote, “Birthday girl… we love you. #happybirthday.”
Hours before her birthday celebrations, Kareena took to her IG handle and shared a monochrome picture of herself with a note reflecting on her life and her plans for the future. Her note can be read as “As I enter my 40th year... I want to sit back, reflect, love, laugh, forgive, forget and most importantly pray and thank the strongest force up there for giving me the strength and thank my experiences and decisions for making me the woman I am... Last year, Karisma Kapoor had wished her darling sister, Kareena with some amazing pictures from her birthday celebrations. Sharing two pictures with the birthday girl, Lolo had written, “Happy birthday to the best sister ever” followed by a heart emoticon. In other pictures, Kareena had posed with Taimur and hubby, Saif. She had looked gorgeous in the pictures as she twinned with her hubby, Saif Ali Khan in a white kurta pyjama.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were in the news recently as the beautiful couple had announced the ‘Good News’ of expecting their second child. On August 12, 2020, the duo had made an official announcement and their statement could be read as "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. Saif and Kareena." Kareena's father, Randhir Kapoor had also expressed his joy in being a grandfather again. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, he had stated, "I am absolutely delighted, I have been telling Kareena for so long that Taimur needs a brother or sister to play with.
