Kareena Kapoor Khan is a true Bollywood diva. She is not just known for her stellar performances and sartorial picks but has also won hearts for being vocal about her personal life. Be it dating Shahid Kapoor or falling head-over-heels in love with Saif Ali Khan, who is ten years elder to her, Kareena has never shied away from discussing her personal life in public.
For the unversed, the begum of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan was in a steady relationship with actor, Shahid Kapoor, before marrying the Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan. However, when the two were dating, Shahid had a major impact on Bebo, who had even changed her eating habits and had turned a vegetarian for him.
In 2019, Kareena Kapoor Khan had appeared on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan season 6, with co-actress, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. During the show, when the host, Karan had mentioned that Bebo is very adaptable as she had turned vegetarian for her then-beau, Shahid Kapoor, her reaction to the same was unmissable.
Talking about Bebo's nature, Karan had said, "Bebo adapts. When she was dating Shahid she was this spiritual vegetarian." Karan had then pointed out how she had again changed after marrying Saif and had said, "Now she is this wine drinking type, going to Gstaad, skiing, being an intellectual, reading a book." Being a true diva, Kareena had given a sassy response to Karan and had retorted:
"I am a method actor in my personal life."
After Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had worked on Fida, bumps had started to appear in their relationship. Distance, success and proximity (as cited to their co-stars), were some of the major reasons behind their separation. Soon after, Kareena had started shooting for Tashan with her now hubby, Saif Ali Khan, and Shahid had begun filming Kismat Konnection with Vidya Balan, thus adding sparks to their individual linkup rumours with their co-stars. As the shoot had neared its end, Kareena and Shahid’s relationship died a slow death.

As per a Miss Malini report, it was Kareena Kapoor’s mother and sister, Babita and Karisma Kapoor, who were not very fond of Shahid Kapoor and Bebo’s camaraderie. Although Shahid belonged to a well-known filmy lineage, they had felt that their families do not match and go at par with each other. The report had stated that Kareena’s fondness towards Shahid was turning into an obsession as Bebo was then asking all of her directors to cast them together in films.
Kareena Kapoor is now living a happy life with Saif Ali Khan and their kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. On the other side, Shahid is married to Delhi-based, Mira Rajput. They are blessed with two adorable children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor.
