However, the one thing which every pregnant woman enjoys during this phase is how everyone around her pampers her with her favourite food and makes sure all her food cravings are taken care of. And talking about food cravings, then actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is expecting her second baby with her hubby, Saif Ali Khan is undergoing some major food cravings. On August 12, 2020, Kareena and Saif had confirmed the news of expecting a baby and had released an official statement regarding the same, which could be read as "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. Saif and Kareena." Whether it is flaunting her baby bump in comfortable yet stylish kaftans or working throughout her pregnancy, Kareena has always been an inspiration to many. Her fans can’t stop praising her effortless style and glamour.

Nothing can beat the happiness a woman undergoes throughout the nine months of her pregnancy. The feeling of a life breathing inside her is something which cannot be explained in words. And the one thing which every woman undergoes is the constant craving for different food items. Kareena Kapoor Khan, recently shared a glimpse of her food craving and every expecting woman can relate to it. The Laal Singh Chaddha actress took to her IG stories and shared a picture of mirch ka aacharr. Sharing the picture, Kareena couldn’t hold her excitement and wrote, “Thank you my dearest Kuppy for my aacharr” followed by heart emoticons.

On August 14, 2020, Kareena Kapoor Khan's nutrition expert, Rujuta Diwekar had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared her diet in the month of May-June. She had posted a picture of Kareena and had written, "The good news is that you don't have to deprive yourself of good food to look good. Sustainable diets keep you sexy and sane. She had further shared Kareena's meal plan, "Meal One - Soaked badams / Banana 9-10ish workout (details below) Meal Two - Dahi rice & papad OR roti paneer sabzi & dal. 12ish Meal Three - small bowl of papaya OR handful of peanuts OR piece of cheese OR some makhana. 2-3 ish Meal Four - Mango milkshake OR bowl of litchi OR some chivda. 5-6 ish Meal Five - Veg pulao & raita OR. Palak or pudina roti with boondi raita OR. Dal rice & sabzi. 8ish Bedtime - Haldi milk with little nutmeg. If hungry in bet - fresh fruit, curd with raisins or cashews, Nimbu sherbet, Nariyal pani, Chaas with kalanamak & thing. Weekly workout - Day One (D1) - 20 mins treadmill, focus on speed. D2 - Yoga routine D3 - Break. D4 - Home strength training workout. D5 - 40 mins on treadmill, focus on staying on steady speed. D6 - Restorative yoga postures or Core workout. D7 - Break."

In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan had opened up on her second pregnancy. She had shared that she wants to stay healthy in her second pregnancy, "Last time, I just took myself for granted and became huge. I put on 25 Kgs. I don't want to do that. I just want to be healthy and fit. I think the first time, it's just excitement. Everyone's like parathe khao, ghee khao, doodh piyo, besan ka laddoos are coming. And now, I'm like listen I have done it before, I know what my body requires. My doctor's like 'listen you are not eating for two, that is just a myth. Just be healthy and be safe.'
