The most anticipated wedding of the B-town has taken a back seat once again. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who were all set to tie the nuptial knot on October 16 this year have called off their wedding plans for the time being.
As per the claims by Mirror, despite being at the top most in the race for top actress slot; she could not overcome the inhibitions regarding her career after marriage in the industry. Kareena , at present has many big projects in her kitty and is working with actors like Imran Khan who are younger to her and marriage at this point of time might hamper her career.
Sharmila Tagore has also admitted that the marriage will no longer take place on the scheduled date.
According to the close sources, the other reason for calling off the wedding is that Saif does not want Kareena to compromise on her career at this point of time, when she is at the peak and her film Heroine is all set to release really soon. The couple believes that marriage would affect the quality of work offered to her.
There might be another twist in this tale, after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s remark that “No married heroine” can be his Juliet, may be Bebo has decided to give a second thought to her Big Day.
