If Saif Ali Khan and his first wife, Amrita Singh’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan was nothing less than a celebrity before her big Bollywood debut, Kedarnath, she had garnered a tremendous fan-following and love after her on-screen debut. While Sara’s first film has bagged her a lot of praises, she has another December release i.e. Rohit Shetty’s directorial venture and Ranveer Singh starrer, Simmba. The entire Bollywood flew to Udaipur for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s pre-wedding festivities from December 7-9, 2018. But for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, their commitment and love for Sara Ali Khan was more important than anything else. Saif and Kareena stayed back for the special screening of Sara’s debut film, Kedarnath. And like everyone, Bebo too loved Sara’s performance in her first film.
Kareena Kapoor Khan was so much impressed by Sara Ali Khan’s performance in Kedarnath, that she decided to throw a party to celebrate Saif’s daughter’s entry into stardom. As per a report in Mid-Day, Bebo is planning to host a bash at her residence to celebrate Sara's Bollywood debut and delivering an incredible performance.
Revealing the same, a source stated to the aforementioned leading tabloid, "Kareena is planning to host a get-together next week. She was impressed with Sara's powerful performance in Kedarnath. With an impending entertainer in Simmba, Kareena thinks Sara has been judicious with her choice of movies and has the potential to make it big in the industry." The source further said, "Kareena Kapoor Khan will invite her and Saif's close friends to the do. She will personally be overseeing the arrangements for the bash."
Earlier a report suggested that Sara's father, Saif Ali Khan was hesitant upon watching her on the ‘big screen’ for the first time. As per a report, “He (Saif) is just petrified to watch Sara on screen. Kareena keeps urging him to watch Kedarnath. But, Saif keeps putting it off." When Saif was asked about the same in an interview, he had informed, “No I haven’t seen Kedarnath yet. In a throwback interview, Saif expressed his nervousness about Sara making her debut in the film industry and had shared, “(I am) A little nervous. Fear is the most driving factor in the industry. I am not looking down on acting, it's just it is not the most stable profession. And everyone lives in constant fear. And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life, any parent would want for their children."
In another interview, Saif had stated, “She has a lot of well-wishers around her, from her mother (Amrita Singh) to me, Karan Johar to everybody. She can seek advice from anybody. I am very happy that she is doing something she is passionate about and it’s a beautiful job."
Sara Ali Khan and her step-mom, Kareena Kapoor Khan share a cordial relationship with each other and they both have time and again mentioned the same in the interviews. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Bebo was quoted as saying, “I can only hope and pray for the best for her. I have always said this to Saif, Sara and Ibrahim that I can only be their friend, I can never be their mother because they already have an amazing mother who’s brought them up spectacularly. I’m meant to be their friend. I love them dearly and whenever I am wanted or my advice needed, I’m there for both at any point in their life.”
At the Lux Golden Rose Awards 2018, Kareena told the media that she is confident about Sara and that her debut film, Kedarnath will be a super-hit. Bebo remarked, "I am quite sure that the film will be a super hit but irrespective of that, I think she is a born star." When Sara was roped in for Kedarnath, Kareena had then shared in an interview, "I am sure she is going to be supremely talented. She has it in her genes, she is looking gorgeous. I truly believe that with her beauty and her talent, she is going to rock the industry for sure."
