Karisma Kapoor is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood, and she never skips a chance to win the hearts of her fans with her acting mettle. The actress made her debut with the movie, Prem Qaidi in 1991. Apart from that, she was seen in several other movies, including Jigar, Anari, Raja Babu, Jeet, Dil To Pagal Hai, and Biwi No. 1, among so many others. The actress was last seen in the mystery thriller, Murder Mubarak. However, during a round table discussion, Karisma, a few days ago, revealed that her name should be announced correctly and it's 'Karizzma’. Soon after that, Kareena called Lolo 'Karisma' in one of the interviews, which left everyone confused. And now, Kareena revealed Karisma's actual pronunciation and shared the safest name to call her sister.
In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about the confusion around Karisma's name's pronunciation. To this, the Crew actress laughed it off and revealed that she would go with the flow and would pronounce it just the way the interviewer would do it. Kareena also added that Karisma is like that and that she goes with the flow. Kareena can be quoted as saying:
"I go with the flow. I go with whatever the interviewer asks me. I am like… yeah whatever. You love her, call her what you want. I think she’s also like… whatever… easy about it.”

Going further in the interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that the reason for confusion would possibly be that people didn't know the actual pronunciation of Karisma's name. The actress further mentioned that in her passport, there is no 'H' in her name, and it's only Karisma, which means miracle. Kareena further added that it would be safest to call Karisma 'Lolo', as it's less controversial. In Kareena's words:
"A lot of people didn’t know, and they couldn’t pronounce because… What is Karisma versus Karishma? Karishma is like a miracle. I think she’s also like whatever you want to call me, but obviously, her name does not have an ‘H’ in it and it is just Karisma on her passport."
Kareena Kapoor Khan also added that Karisma is chilled about whatever pronunciation is used for her, as what matters the most is obviously love and emotion. Talking more about it, Kareena added:
"I think we can just call her Lolo, that’s so much easier right? She’s so chill. It’s about the love and emotion but obviously if you say what her name is in the passport, it is Karisma.”
During a round table discussion with Neelesh Misra on Netflix India’s YouTube channel, Karisma Kapoor was asked to reveal the actual pronunciation of her name. To this, the actress revealed that it's ‘Kari-zz-ma’ and not 'Karishma' in Hindi. However, such a revelation left Pankaj Tripathi and Sara Ali Khan shocked. When Sara asked Karisma why the latter never corrected anybody, the latter revealed that it'd been years, and people call her with love and affection. Thus, it doesn't bother her anymore.

Earlier, during an interaction with Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, Kareena Kapoor stated that she considers herself to be lucky to be in the shelter of her sister, Karisma Kapoor's guidance. The actress stated that Karisma was only 15 years old when she gave her first shot, and Kareena, who was Taimur's age back then, had learnt so much from her sister.
