After Soha Ali Khan and Esha Deol Takhtani, former's sister-in-law, Kareena Kapoor Khan turned author and shared her pregnancy experience through her book, KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN'S PREGNANCY BIBLE: The ultimate manual for moms-to-be. Since the book is available for pre-order, a lot of people have got their hands on the book and are sharing interesting instances revealed by Kareena in the book about her journey of motherhood with firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan and second born, Jeh.
Kareena Kapoor Khan has always spoken about her struggles with pregnancy, the joy of motherhood and managing her work-life balance. It was in 2012 when Kareena became a 'Khan' after her nikaah with Saif Ali Khan and four years later, their 'happily ever after' journey became happier with the arrival of their first child, Taimur Ali Khan. After more than four years, in 2021, Taimur became a big brother when Kareena and Saif welcomed their second child, Jeh, into their lives. Just like her first pregnancy and motherhood phase, Kareena has been an inspiration being a working mom after her second delivery too!
In her book, KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN'S PREGNANCY BIBLE: The ultimate manual for moms-to-be, Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke about not proving to the world that she's a hands-on mom, her motherhood journey and her feelings on mom's guilt. Speaking about jumping back to her professional commitments, Kareena wrote in her book, "I have jumped back into my commitments soon after having Jeh too, though I definitely feel less rushed. It's normal to feel guilty. But trust me when I say Taimur doesn't love me any less today because I got my life back soon after I had him, and neither will Jeh."
Speaking of why she doesn't feel the need to prove to the world that she is a hands-on mother, Kareena Kapoor Khan elaborated, "Saif and I are both working parents. Our lives would hardly be possible without them. And I want you to know that I don't have to be on Instagram putting a child to my breast to prove I am a hands-on mom. I just do the best I can, every single day."
Sharing her hope for Jeh to be as confident as his elder brother, Taimur Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan continued, "Saif told me I could do it all. He and I have worked hard to build a strong foundation for our relationship, and I truly believe my kids will always have that to stand on. And, hopefully, Jeh will be as confident as Taimur, because of his parents."
On Taimur Ali Khan's fourth birthday on December 20, 2020, Kareena Kapoor Khan had written a heartfelt note on how proud she is of him. She had captioned Taimur's birthday special video as "My child... I'm happy at four you have such determination, dedication and focus on what you want to do... which is now picking up the haystack and feeding the cow... God bless you my hardworking boy... but on the way, don't forget to taste the snow, pluck flowers, jump up and down, climb trees and ofcourse eat all your cake... Chase your dreams and keep your chin up my boy... but above all else... do everything in your life that makes you smile. No one can or ever will love you more than your Amma. Happy Birthday Son... My Tim."
For the unversed, it was on Taimur's fourth birthday when Kareena had announced her book!
