Right now, both Kareena and Karisma are enjoying time with their families in their respective homes in quarantine because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In recent weeks, we have already seen how celebrities are spending their time in quarantine and are having a glimpse of their lives in lockdown through their Instagram stories and posts. Just like that a ‘then and now’ picture of the two sisters went viral on the internet and tells us how fast the time goes.
Recently, a fan page of Kareena Kapoor Khan took to their Instagram handle and posted a collage consisting of two pictures. The upper one is a throwback picture of the two sisters from their childhood. While, the below one is from Karisma’s recent visit to her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s talk show, What Women Want. In the old picture, the two little sisters are looking extremely adorable, as Karisma’s arm can be seen around baby Kareena’s neck. Take a look. The Kapoor sisters never fail to drop our jaws with their awesome clothing styles and impeccable fashion sense. Remember when Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan had twinned in matching olive-green jackets, white tees, jeans and sneakers for latter’s sister-in-law, Soha Ali Khan's baby shower? Weeks after when they had worn similar pale blue and pink knee-length dresses, both Lolo and Bebo gave out major sibling goals to everyone. Take a look.
In a 2018 interview with the Filmfare Magazine, Karisma Kapoor had shared some unknown facts about her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan. She had shared, “Apart from being a carefree person, I would say that she is a very emotional person. It is because of family, upbringing -- my dad, my mom. The Kapoors and the Shivdasanis, we have been extremely close and family is most important. We say careers, friends, work everything is important, but family is THE most important. That’s how we have that bond of sisters and we are a very strong women-centric home. I am fortunate to have that bond (with Kareena).”
In a 2016 interview with the Hindustan Times, Kareena Kapoor Khan had revealed that despite being much younger to her sister, Karisma Kapoor, she had bullied her multiple times. Bebo was quoted as saying, “She’s my older sister, but I think I kind of bully her sometimes. I fire her, and I also give her advice. But eventually, she’s the person I have grown up aspiring to be. Even the way she conducted herself back in the ’90s — she was a very private actor — was inspiring.” She had further added, “Her [Karisma’s] simplicity is her beauty and charm. That’s why, all her life, everyone around her has bullied her. But everyone who is a part of my life knows that if Lolo has said something, then it’s like gospel truth for me. And what I admire the most is the dignity with which she has conducted her life, her career, and single-handedly brought up her children, despite a lot of media stress, in terms of her marriage.” (Also Read: Deepika Padukone Takes A Dig At Hubby, Ranveer Singh, Hilariously Trolls Him On His Latest Post)
