The actress, who debuted with the 2000 film, Refugee, is still one of the most prominent names in the industry. Kareena recently graced the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards (DPIFF) 2024 in style, and surely, we just could not take our eyes off Kareena. But what caught our attention was a moment on the red carpet of the same event.
On February 20, 2024, several celebrities from all around India graced the prestigious DPIFF Awards ceremony in Mumbai, and Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor were among them. The two Bollywood celebrities were once in a relationship, and their animosity towards each other might not have gone till now as the evidence of the same surfaced in the media. In several paparazzi videos from the event, Kareena could be seen walking past Shahid.

In the videos, Shahid Kapoor was seen happily posing for photographs with filmmakers, Raj and DK, when Kareena entered the scene. While Shahid looked at her smilingly, Kareena ignored him and walked past the actor. It is worth noting that Bebo greeted filmmaker, Raj, who was standing right beside Shahid Kapoor, and then she proceeded to find a place to stand and pose for the paparazzi. As the videos are mostly taken from Kareena’s back angle, it is not clear if she smiled at Shahid and has acknowledged his presence or not.

As soon as these videos went viral on social media, netizens took to the comment section of the video post and started penning down their thoughts on the same incident. One user wrote, “Shahid is a cool stud, usse koi farak nhi padta.” Another one said, “Are you waiting for her to greet him after all his bad comments about her and she never mentioned him?!” A third comment can be read as “They looked at each other and smiled.”

For those who don’t know, Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor used to be one of the ‘IT' couples in Tinseltown once. The two first met on the sets of their 2004 film, Fida, and they fell head over heels in love with one another. Kareena and Shahid dated till 2007 before calling it quits during the shoot of their popular film, Jab We Met. However, the two have moved on and are happily settled in their own lives. On one hand, Kareena got married to Saif Ali Khan in 2012, and the couple has two children together, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. On the other, Shahid married Mira Rajput in 2015, and they, too, are parents to two kids, their daughter, Misha and son, Zain.
