If there has to be one star-kid about whom the nation can’t stop talking about, it is the junior Pataudi, Taimur Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Born in a legendary family, Taimur has become an internet sensation and there hasn’t gone a single day when his pictures/videos didn’t pop up on our social media timelines. Seems like just how oxygen is a necessity for a human to survive, similarly a glimpse of Taimur has also become a sine qua non for the netizens to survive. And if you, like so many others, love following paparazzi and Taimur Ali Khan’s fan pages on social media for his pictures and videos, sometime back the news about this two-and-a-half-year-old’s Bollywood debut might have grabbed your attention too. According to the reports sometime back, a source had confirmed, "Taimur will be seen in Good News. He has shot for two scenes and will be seen in the same frame with his mother and Akshay sir. The video which went viral was taken after [Taimur] shot for his scenes. His cameo extends to nearly 10 minutes."
The rumours began when Taimur Ali Khan was often spotted on the sets of Good News with mommy, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her co-star, Kiara Advani had also posted a video playing with baby Tim in between her shots. Kiara had taken to her Instagram story as she couldn’t resist playing with baby Tim in between her shots on the sets of the film. Kiara had written, "The real star on the set! Keeping up with Tim Tim" atop of the video. Check out the video:
Now, Kareena Kapoor Khan has finally reacted to the rumours about Taimur Ali Khan making his debut with a cameo in her upcoming film, Good News co-starring Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Refuting such reports and out-rightly denying them in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Kareena stated, “Not at all. Why would he do that?” Though this news has disappointed many Taimur’s fans, we would patiently wait for the right time to see our little munchkin spreading his charm on the silver screens.
In a recent interaction with The Times Of India, Kareena Kapoor Khan got candid about her son, Taimur Ali Khan and her TV debut as a Dance India Dance judge. When asked if Taimur has shown any inclination towards dance, Kareena retorted, “A little bit as he is too small. He hasn't just focused on one thing.” If Taimur is allowed to watch TV, Kareena replied, “No, he doesn't watch TV. He is too small, but it is inevitable and later on, when he grows up he will decide what he wants to watch.” (Also Read: Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan And Taimur Ali Khan Say 'Hi' From Tuscany, Give Major Vacay Goals)
When asked what made her say yes to TV this time, Kareena Kapoor Khan was quoted as saying, “I have been offered many shows in the past but I have refused them because television has long working hours like (12-14 hours). I don't work beyond 8-9 hours because I am a working mother and I like to be at home before Taimur eats his dinner. That's the time I want to be around him and my family. That was the only hurdle that I had to cross when I was talking about to the makers for DID. So the first day they left me early and yesterday they left me late. They have been very kind and are balancing it out. These were my few conditions and we are on the same page.”
If her husband, Saif Ali Khan and sister, Karisma Kapoor had been supportive about her decision of becoming a judge on Dance India Dance, Kareena Kapoor Khan replied, “My parents have been always supportive of me in whatever I do and they are always open to me doing something new. Saif is just nervous how I am going to manage everything. But he is always like you are a star and you will manage.” When asked if she is an overprotective mother, Bebo said, “I don't know what kind of a mother I am. He is very small and Saif thinks I am overprotective.” (Also Read: Kunal Kemmu Is Learning How To Be A Parent To His One-Year-Old Daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu)
