Recently, Kareena Kapoor attended an event in Mumbai to promote the new range of Fizzy Goblet’s footwear collection. At this event, Kareena was seen cutting a hyper-realistic shoe-shaped cake. Soon a video of the same went viral. In this video, Kareena was seen sitting at a table. On that table, there were two shoes, one was the original, and the other was its edible replica. The actress seemed nervous while cutting the cake, as finding the cake version of the shoe was hard. However, she cut the cake hesitatingly and gave the disguised cake a sniff. She even said:
"I am scared to eat this."

Netizens flooded the comment section when the video of Kareena Kapoor cutting the hyper-realistic cake went viral. Reacting to this video, a user wrote, "Chappal khayegi bebo." Another user commented, "Jootey khana in real." An internet user considered this disrespectful and wrote, "Cake k pass sandal, different karne k chakkar mein kuch bhi wahiyat karne ka kya matlab h ... ??? This is purely disrespectful." A user found this to be unhygienic to keep an actual shoe near the edible one and commented, "Who keeps sandals near to cake, so unhygienic." Another internet user wrote, "What's wrong with this people ? Making shoe as cake wired!"
Kareena Kapoor attended Fizzy Goblet’s new footwear collection promotion event wearing an off-shoulder orange outfit. With this glam look, Kareena has proved that orange is the new black. However, her look for the day has won millions of hearts. In an interview at the same event, Kareena Kapoor was asked about her thoughts on starring in the off-spin of the marvellous character, 'Poo', aka 'Pooja Sharma', from the movie, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. She replied that this is an iconic character, which she thinks can not be touched and nobody can play this. In her words:
"Never. As you said, Poo was truly an iconic character. Some characters need to remain untouched and loved for what it was. I don’t think it can be touched, I don’t think it should be and nobody can play Poo."
