Teejay Sidhu, who is his soulmate and a pillar of support throughout his life journey, turned a year older today on January 22, 2019. And, Karanvir made sure to make it a special day for his wife. So, all you guys out there take your pens out as you might want to take some clues from the actor.
Karanvir shared a beautiful family picture and wrote a heartfelt note with it. The actor captioned the picture as, “Sweety @bombaysunshine a very #happybirthday ...... For those who don’t know, Karanvir’s fans rejoiced when he decided to enter the popular reality show of Colours, Bigg Boss. However, the journey inside the house wasn’t a pleasant one as the housemates constantly used to target him for being too ‘mahaan’. But this quality of him increased his fan base. Karanvir’s wife, Teejay didn’t like the fact how her husband was made fun of for his dressing sense, hairstyle and a lot more on the show. So, she decided to support him through social media to share her thoughts and pen a literally long open letter with this caption, “It's okay to joke around and tease someone, but there comes a point when a person may be feeling genuinely upset. After coming out of the show, in an interview with Times Now, Karanvir shared how terribly he missed his family. He said, “Man, you know what, I really missed changing diapers in the house. Teejay was managing both the kids without me outside and she was also handling my social media. Karan and Teejay had a filmy 'love at first sight' kind of a story. And, they soon got married, however, the two decided not to shoulder the responsibility of children for a decade after getting hitched. Karanvir had revealed in an interview with The Times Of India, and said, “Having babies late was not because I didn’t want to bear the burden of responsibilities. But once we were married, we wanted to spend time with each other and explore the world.”
Karanvir further added, “As a couple, we wanted to understand each other. I know it is important to have children, and couples in India plan to have kids soon after they are married. But in the process, the focus is on the children and not on the husband-wife relationship, which is the pillar that lays the foundation of a great marriage.” In the same interview, Karanvir had talked about how the focus shifts to the babies as soon as they are born. He stated, “As soon as the children are born, the focus shifts from the wife and husband to their kids. It’s their needs, which gets more priority. The passion and romance in a marriage take a backseat. I didn’t want that to happen to our marriage. I wanted to understand my partner. Now my kids have arrived at a time when we are ready”.
