A chance meeting was all it took for Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu to start their beautiful journey together. Almost a decade and a half back, at Mount Mary church in Bandra, Karanvir and Teejay had bumped into each other when the latter had visited the church with their common friend, Anupama Chopra. When Anupama had to leave, Karanvir insisted to drop Teejay home and they had ended up chatting for hours on the steps of the church. It seemed like divine intervention in Karanvir and Teejay’s meetings as next time too, they had bumped into each other again in the vicinity of the same church and finally exchanged numbers. While it was God’s plan, Karanvir Bohra, in an interview, had said that during his second meeting with Teejay Sidhu, he had decided to marry her. Exactly a year later, Karanvir had proposed to Teejay at the church and had gotten engaged at that moment with the blessings of her Godmother. Though Karanvir and Teejay believe in different faiths, they believe that it is the spiritual connection that bonds them more, which was also the reason behind their union. Six months after getting engaged, Karanvir and Teejay had exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony at the Art Of Living Ashram in Bangalore.
To mark their fourteenth anniversary of getting engaged, Karanvir Bohra posted a selfie with his pregnant wife, Teejay Sidhu as they were drenched in water and love. Sharing their pool selfie, Karanvir wrote, “That’s you and me sweety.... #happyanniversary 14years. We have crossed 2 #sevenyearitch having you by my side is the best destiny that god has written for me. It was on August 28, 2020, when Karanvir Bohra had turned 38 and the couple had announced that their family of four is soon going to be a family of five. Sharing their photoshoot pictures with Teejay flaunting her baby bump and their twins, Bella and Vienna wearing ‘Big Sister’ tees, the parents-to-be, Karanvir and Teejay had announced the news of their pregnancy with the caption, “Ultimately, it's God who is the creator, He crafts every little detail with His own hands. We are the vessels, waiting to receive whatever he has in store for us. Thank you to our Divine for this beautiful blessing. We are beyond grateful that He has chosen us to become parents again. So much love for the little soul already. Best birthday gift ever.” and “So many blessings.. And now we get one more.. Every soul has a purpose, we don't choose them, they choose us. Since then, Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu have been delighting their fans with beautiful glimpses of their second pregnancy journey. After spending some beautiful moments together in India, Teejay and twins, Bella and Vienna had jetted off to Canada, where the expecting mommy will be spending her last months of pregnancy. Sharing a family picture from the airport, Teejay had written, “Sweety, come soon… we already miss you...” On which, Karanvir had commented, “Tere bin nayi lagada dil Mera dholna.”
Karanvir Bohra had posted a video on his IG handle, as he had bid adieu to his wife, Teejay Sidhu and their daughters, Bella and Vienna before they headed off to Canada. Giving a glimpse of their emotional moment and recalling what his ‘sensitive’ daughter, Bella had said in the morning, Karanvir had captioned the post as “This was such an emotional moment for me, my younger daughter #vienna had tears in her eyes, knowing that im not going with them to Canada. Never felt this sad in a long long time, even though im going to see them in a few days. Just knowing they are so far from me makes me sad and teary eyed. Bella was saying earlier in the day, "Dad, the house is going too feel so sad when we are gone?" Girls are really so so sensitive. As a father and as a parent it's so important to give love to your children and be with them as much as you can. All the work, money, projects can happen and will happen, but this time won't come back. This lockdown has got me so close to my family.
