The Lord of wisdom, success, wealth and the destroyer of evil was here yesterday (quite literally!), and all of India, specifically Maharashtrians had a gala time. When it comes to Ganesh puja, it is our big and small screen stars who make the most of the celebrations. The world yesterday (September 13, 2018), caught a glimpse of an array of well-decked up celebrities. One of them being television superstars, Karanvir Bohra and his wife, Teejay Sidhu. Shutterbugs clicked the beautiful couple, along with their adorable twins, Bella and Vienna, making the most of the puja. Take a look:
It was Bella and Vienna’s first Ganesh Chaturthi (given they were not in India in 2017 during their Ganesh Chaturthi last year) and the doting daddy Karanvir, took to Instagram and posted two adorable pictures of the couple, with Lord Ganpati watching over them. The ‘awesome foursome’ family was dressed in their traditional best and were all smiles (except for one), as they happily posed for the camera. Sharing the adorable set of pictures, Karanvir captioned the picture as, “@twinbabydiaries first ever #ganeshchaturti Photo 2 vienna was crying coz i didn't let her play with her fav "haathi" ( that's what they call ganesha ).”
Don’t they look adorable to another level? They surely do! The adorable munchkins are the ‘apple of the eyes’ of Teejay and Karanvir and are soon going to turn two on October 19, 2018. In 2017, the couple had hosted a star-studded first birthday bash for the munchkins with an ‘angelic theme’. Isn’t it amazing? Speaking about parenthood, Karanvir had once shared in an interview, “So, we are responsible and caring, but we are really blessed that these little angels are in our lives. Sometimes I and Teejay wonder what karma we have done that they've been sent to us. They are really God's blessing.” Further talking about both the husband and the wife taking an equal responsibility of the children, he had shared, “Men should not only help, but also take the front seat whenever it comes to helping their babies because I am not just only about a diaper dad. I make cereals, milk, I put them to bed, whenever they are playing I sit and look at them... It also takes away from the mother's busy schedule. I think every father should be involved.”
Did you know? Karanvir and Teejay were married for over 10 years before they decided to start a family. Karanvir opened up about the same in an interview and stated, “Having babies late was not because I didn't want to bear the burden of responsibilities. But once we were married, we wanted to spend time with each other and explore the world. As a couple we wanted to understand each other. I know it is important to have children, and couples in India plan to have kids soon after they are married. But in the process, the focus is on the children and not on the husband-wife relationship, which is the pillar that lays the foundation of a great marriage."
