Ahead of Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 20's premiere, there had been a rumour swirling over the internet that TV host-cum-actor Karan Wahi and his ex-girlfriend, Uditi Singh, would be entering the house. Now that Uditi has officially begun her journey on Bigg Boss 20, fans are eager to see Karan inside the house. A few days back, Karan made fun of the following speculation. Now, Uditi has opened up about the same and got candid about their relationship.
Uditi Singh opens up about her former relationship with TV host-cum-actor Karan Wahi
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 20, Uditi was seen having a chitchat with fellow contestants Mahhi Vij and Qazi Touqeer. During the conversation, Uditi Singh opened up about her former relationship with TV host-cum-actor Karan Wahi. The Bigg Boss 20 contestant shared that she is not a person who blocks their ex on social media. However, to cut the connection, she had changed her phone number.
When Mahhi Vij said that initially she felt the two were coming together inside the Bigg Boss 20 house, Qazi wanted to know who the guy was. In response, Uditi Singh shared that she has no issue with telling his name, but she doesn’t want to. She stated that usually she does not say anything wrong about him. When Uditi was asked how she would have reacted if Karan entered the Bigg Boss 20 house, she shared:
"Woh saath bhi ajate toh mere liye any other contestant type hi hota. Jaise yeha log hain jinse main baat nahi karti. Bhagwan ne mujhe woh diya hi nahi woh challenge. Main prepared ho rahi thi; agar dete toh main tab dekhti. Mere liye yehi bohot challenging hai ki main itni loge saath yeha hoon."
Further, Uditi explained that even if Karan reportedly entered the Bigg Boss 20 house as a wildcard, it does not bother her, as she moved on a long time ago. She shared that after their breakup, she used to cry initially. In fact, she wished that he would not come in front of her. However, now things have changed. It does not bother her anymore. She said:
"Maine move on kab ka kar liya hai. It’s been so long. Mereko kuch nahi hoga ki hay mera dil. Koyi chakkar nahi hai mujhe. Starting mein I used to cry."
During the same conversation, Uditi shared that she and Karan met in London. She mentioned that it started through a random DM that she had sent to Karan. They met at a restaurant in London and continued meeting for three consecutive days. They talked continuously for two months, and after that they began dating. Uditi revealed that she used to frequently travel between London and India to meet Karan. Later, she shifted to India and was looking for a job in an MNC company.
According to Uditi, long-distance relationships usually do not work. Thus, she wanted to stay in India so that she remained in touch with her then-boyfriend, Karan. She revealed that they had plans for marriage. She added that they had a two-and-a-half-year relationship. She said:
"Two-and-a-half-year relationship. That’s why the breakup was hard for me. I shifted for him."
According to reports, Karan and Uditi began dating in mid-2019. However, things went terribly wrong in 2022, and they called it quits. The duo never shared the actual reason behind their split. In a 2023 interview with Zoom, Uditi confirmed that she and Karan had not been in touch for the past year.
