Karan Sharma is famous for his chocolaty boy image on television. He rose to fame with his role as 'Vivaan' in Sasural Simar Ka 2. After winning the hearts of countless females, the actor is all set to get married. Yes, ladies, your favourite television actor is getting married to Pooja Singh, who is famous for her role in Diya Aur Baat Hum. The couple's wedding date has been fixed, and they will tie the knot at the end of March 2024.
Karan Sharma and Pooja Singh will get married on March 30, 2024. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Karan talked about his wedding with Pooja, and how they fell in love. The couple have known each other for the past three months, and Karan confirmed his wedding news.

However, it was Pooja who divulged further details about their wedding festivities. She revealed that they will be having a north-Indian style wedding with proper dance and gaana. Pooja also revealed that their haldi and mehendi rituals will be held on March 29th, 2024. She was quoted as saying:
"So, it is going to happen on the 30th of March. It will be a north-Indian style wedding which will start in the evening, followed by dance, music and celebration. We will have our haldi and mehndi rituals on the 29th of March which will be a close-knit affair. On the wedding day, there will be many friends from the industry attending the function. Initially, we planned on having an intimate wedding, but when you live in Mumbai, you can't possibly plan a small function. Our guest list is increasing day by day (chukkles)."
During the same interview, Pooja revealed that their meeting was unexpected. She added that it was dreamy, as they had been in the same industry for over a decade but never really met each other. Pooja added that while they had shot in the same studio and stayed in the same hotel, their paths never crossed. She revealed that it was one of their common friend who arranged a meeting for them. She said:
"It was quite unexpected. It seems quite dreamy as we both belong to the same industry and have been working for almost a decade but have never met. We both simultaneously worked with Rashami Sharma Productions and used to shoot in the same studio, but we never met. Even during the pandemic, the cast of both shows were staying at the same hotel, but we never crossed paths. It was when a common friend made us meet. It is more of an arranged marriage set-up. It feels surreal and like we were destined to be together."
Pooja revealed that she met Karan at the end of December. They had a conversation, and they instantly clicked. She added that before he had to leave for Chandigarh, their parents met, and after he came back from the shoot, he suggested getting married. She stated that it was a quick decision and it made her realise that you don't need much time to know someone before saying yes.
For those who don't know, it is going to be Karan's second marriage. He was earlier married to Tiaara Kar, and after three years, the couple parted ways. On the other hand, Pooja Singh was earlier married to Kapil Chattani. Talking about the same, Pooja states that they both have a past, and it will be their second marriage, and they understand this part of their lives. She said:
"We both have our pasts and this is a second marriage for both of us. We have a lot of unsaid understanding and that's what I love about us."
We cannot wait for Karan and Pooja's wedding festivities to begin!
