Karan Sharma, of Sasural Simar Ka, got married for the second time to Pooja Singh, an actress famous for her role in the show, Diya Aur Baati Hum. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai, which was attended by their close family and friends. Once, Pooja revealed that her path never crossed Karan, despite working in the same industry.
On March 30, 2023, Karan and Pooja tied the knot. The groom, Karan looked handsome in an ivory-hued sherwani with a maroon-toned turban and a doshala. On the other hand, the bride, Pooja looked pretty in an orange-hued lehenga with heavy zardozi work. She styled her look with a huge maang teeka, choker, a nath and matching earrings.

Karan and Pooja's families also hosted a sangeet ceremony, ahead of their grand wedding. The actress was dressed up in a beautiful pink-hued gown. On the other hand, Karan looked handsome in a black-hued tuxedo. The couple looked madly in love as they posed for the cameras with their friends.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, Pooja revealed that her first meeting with Karan was unexpected. She added that it was dreamy, as they had been in the same industry for over a decade but never really met each other. Pooja also stated that while they had shot in the same studio and stayed in the same hotel, their paths never crossed. She revealed that it was one of their common friend who arranged a meeting for them. She said:
"It was quite unexpected. It seems quite dreamy as we both belong to the same industry and have been working for almost a decade but have never met. We both simultaneously worked with Rashami Sharma Productions and used to shoot in the same studio, but we never met. Even during the pandemic, the cast of both shows were staying at the same hotel, but we never crossed paths. It was when a common friend made us meet. It is more of an arranged marriage set-up. It feels surreal and like we were destined to be together."
Pooja also shared that she met Karan at the end of December. They had a conversation, and they instantly clicked. She added that before he had to leave for Chandigarh, their parents met, and after he came back from the shoot, he suggested getting married. She stated that it was a quick decision and it made her realise that you don't need much time to know someone before saying yes.
For those who don't know, it is going to be Karan's second marriage. He was earlier married to Tiaara Kar, and after three years, the couple parted ways. On the other hand, Pooja Singh was earlier married to Kapil Chattani. Talking about the same, Pooja stated that they both have a past, and it will be their second marriage, and they understand this part of their lives. She said:
"We both have our pasts and this is a second marriage for both of us. We have a lot of unsaid understanding and that's what I love about us."
