For Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava, 2019 ended with a basket full of happiness and love as they welcomed their first child, a daughter on December 14, 2019. Since then, the Patel and Bhargava families are on cloud nine and are spending most of their time with the little angel in the house. Karan and Ankita had officially announced the arrival of their daughter, Mehr by sharing a poster on their Instagram handles, which could be read as "IT'S A GIRL! & we call her... Mehr Karan Patel Loving Parents, Ankita & Karan Patel." Karan and Ankita had captioned it as “All your blessings made our world beautiful, a heartfelt thankyou to all our well wishers .... #RabbDiMehr.”
Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava stepped into parenthood in 2019 and are making the most of this ‘surreal’ feeling. Karan has already sunk into the daddy duties but looks like, he couldn’t stop adoring his little angel. A while back, Karan posted a picture holding his daughter in his arms as he looks her adorably. Karan simply captioned his post with the hashtag, #RabDiMehr.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, post becoming a father, Karan Patel had confessed that he was hoping for a baby girl, said, “Rab di Mehr hui” and expressed that being a parent feels “surreal”. Stating that everyday is a new experience for them with a baby in the house now, Karan remarked, “It’s still sinking in. Every day is an experience. Right now, she is too small and sleeps through the day. But when she starts responding to sound and light, those interactions will be fun.”
Describing his daddy duties and how he is helping his wife, Ankita Bhargava in taking care of their newborn angel, Karan Patel had continued, “She is troubling Ankita the most for now and father ka role thode time ke baad start hoga. I have learned how to swaddle her and change diapers, which I do when Ankita gets really tired. On Christmas 2019, Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava had treated their fans with the first-ever glimpse of their newborn daughter, Mehr Karan Patel. Cuddled in her daddy’s arms, Mehr had looked adorable dressed in red and white as she twinned with her mommy, who wore a dress in the same colour combination. While Karan had captioned their first family picture as “MERRY CHRISTMAS #RabDiMehr”, Ankita had written, “This is the Merriest Christmas Everrrrr!!! #NaughtyAndMehr #RabbDiMehr #merryxmas.”
Before Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava had officially announced their daughter’s name, their close friends, Priyanka Vikaas Kalantri and Vikaas Kalantri had revealed the same with their fans. Priyanka and Vikaas had visited the newbie parents and their baby girl at the hospital and sharing a picture with elated daddy, Karan, Priyanka had written, “Congratulations to the new Mommy @ankzbhargava and Daddy @karan9198 Mehr is such an angel You guys make a lovely family. Love you guys.” And Vikaas had captioned his post as “Congratulations to the new #daddy @karan9198 & #mommy @ankzbhargava in #town. Welcome to the #club guys The hands on KP was a welcome surprise. Lots & lots of love to the little princess.”
Karan Patel had confirmed the news of his baby girl’s arrival in a statement to the media, which could be read as "Am numb overjoyed and a little intimidated the only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go, Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who has loved us and continue to bless us." Ankita Bhargava's father, Abhay Bhargava had also stated, “We are elated with the arrival of our granddaughter. Both the families — the Patels and the Bhargavas —- wanted a girl and God has blessed us with one.
