Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava’s love story is totally filmy as the duo had never met each other even when Karan had worked with Ankita’s father, Abhay Bhargava in the popular show, Ye Hai Mohabbatein. Aly Goni had played the role of Cupid in Karan and Ankita’s love story as he had introduced them and was the reason for their lovely union. Ankita and Karan had gotten married on May 3, 2015, and on December 14, 2019, the doting couple had embraced parenthood by welcoming a little angel into their lives, whom they have named, Mehr. To celebrate Karan Patel’s 37th birthday, his wife, Ankita Bhargava had not shied away from expressing her love in the most adorable manner. On November 23, 2020, Karan had turned a year older and Ankita had taken to her IG handle to share an adorable wish for her man. Sharing a cutesy picture with Karan, where the two could be seen hugging each other, Ankita had written, “Happy Bday Mehr ke Papa! #alwayswantedtosaythis #socliche #happybday.” On Ankita’s post, Karan had commented, “Arri o sunti hooo, Mehr ki maa, ji humne kaha thankyouuu.” Mehr holds the most important place in Karan and Ankita’s life and now, the mommy has shared a glimpse of Mehr’s birthday gift for her daddy.
Taking to her IG handle, Ankita shared a picture on her IG stories showing the adorable gift that her daughter, Mehr gifted to her father, Karan. Mehr gifted a card to her father which can be read as “Happy Birthday Dad your first one with Me!!” In the picture, we can also spot Mehr’s hand and it surely made for the best birthday gift Karan has ever received. Karan and Ankita have been ensuring that their little wonder celebrates every festival from Christmas to rakhi. Mehr too is making every festival special for her family. On the occasion of Krishna Janmasthami, on August 12, 2020, Ankita had dressed her baby girl, Mehr as 'Baal Gopal' and her husband, Karan had helped her. The actress had shared two cute pictures, wherein we could see the dotting parents getting their angel ready for the Janmashtami celebrations. In a conversation with SpotboyE, Ankita had revealed the first thing that Karan had bought for his lovely angel, Mehr. Ankita had said, “Since we didn't know if it's a baby boy or a girl, we hadn't shopped anything. So, the day she born, we made her wear Karan's nephew's clothes who was recently born. But those were boys’ clothes and the moment we got to know ladki hui hai, Karan went to a shop and got her a baby pink colour body suit, undies and swaddles.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Karan had talked about his new-born daughter, Mehr and his experience of changing diapers and helping wife, Ankita. Karan had shared, "I've learned how to swaddle her. Swaddle is when you wrap the baby in that muslin cloth. Yes, I do change the diapers also as and when possible or probable if I am around and Ankita (Bhargava) is busy with something.
