The much-awaited Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards were held in Mumbai on February 21, 2023. Renowned stars from the film and television industries attended the award night. It was a special night for the ones, who won an award on the night and one such celeb was popular actress, Tejasswi Prakash. The actress grabbed the Best Actress Award at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for her performance in the famous television show, Naagin 6.
As soon as the news of Tejasswi Prakash winning the Best Actress Award at Dadasaheb Phalke Award reached Karan Kundrra, he congratulated the actress with a cute video on his Instagram stories. The actor looked dapper in a black shirt and could be seen partying with his friends. However, we can also spot his father getting a haircut, and when Karan told him about Tejasswi’s big win at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, it brought a bright smile to the veteran’s face.

In the video, Karan Kundrra’s father, SP Kundra congratulated his son’s girlfriend, Tejasswi Prakash, on winning the Best Actress Award at Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2023 with so much love. The veteran admitted that he is super proud of Tejasswi and stated that Dadasaheb Phalke Award is one of the biggest awards any actor can win in their career. He also added that at such a young age, Tejasswi managed to get one, which is an extraordinary feat as he has seen many big actors with long careers in the entertainment industry and without a Dadasaheb Phalke award in their collection. He said:
"What a wonderful news! Teju I am proud of you. Award jo haina. One of the best awards in Indian film industry. Bade bde logo ko ye award nahi mile. She’s lucky ki at such a young age she has got it. God bless her."
The doting boyfriend, Karan Kundrra posted his father’s reaction on his IG story and wrote, “@tejasswiprakash congrats little chua. We’re proud of you #dadasahebphalkeaward”, atop it. The actress beaming with happiness didn’t take much time to react to the adorable video. Tejasswi reposted Karan’s story on her IG stories and put three red heart emoticons atop it. The lovely video of the father-son duo congratulating the actress on receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke award is winning everyone’s hearts on the internet.
