Karan Johar is infamously known to be the mastermind behind several celebrity jodis in Bollywood. The talented filmmaker has previously played the role of a cupid to bring several lovebirds together in matrimony. Moreover, many celebrities have indeed manifested their real-life love stories on the filmmaker's chat show, Koffee With Karan. From Alia-Ranbir to Sidharth-Kiara, the list is endless. And now, it seems that Karan Johar might be setting up another celebrity with her soulmate.
Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan recently joined the stage at the 54th International Film Festival Of India, hosted in Goa. The filmmaker released a glimpse of the actress’ next film under his production banner, Ae Watan Mere Watan. During the same, the two of them sat for an interaction with the press, wherein Karan wittily mentioned how it has been his manifestation off lately to get Sara Ali Khan married to a green-flag guy. In his witty andaz, Karan said:
“I hope you find green flag guys. I am manifesting it more than anything else. People who have said things on that couch, it has happened. Right, Sara? I know people who have come and spoken about the potential of marriage and they got married. I think there is a bit of Sima Taparia in me. I am that Punjabi aunty who wants to get people together and Sara is my next mission.”

For the unversed, Sara Ali Khan was previously in a relationship with her Love Aaj Kal 2 co-star, Kartik Aaryan. However, the duo broke up soon after, due to reasons best known to them. Some time back, Sara graced the infamous couch of Koffee With Karan 8, wherein she candidly talked about the impact of her breakup with Kartik in her life. Elaborating whether she has been able to remain friends with the actor even after their breakup, Sara mentioned:
“I don't want to say that ya, it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever its today, whatever its tomorrow'. It's not like that. It does effect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that."
While Sara may have been candid in her opinions and viewpoints about her breakup on Koffee With Karan, it seems her ex-beau, Kartik Aaryan seemingly had a different take on it. In an interview with Anupama Chopra on Film Companion, Kartik emphasised that since a relationship is between two people, one should never talk about the same publicly. Moreover, he also asserted how it is equally important to respect the relationship, even if it has gotten over.

Before Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan was allegedly dating Veer Pahariya. Intrestingly, the duo were in a relationship at a time before they both entered into showbiz. However, their affair was short-lived and they broke up amicably. However, it was once again at the Diwali bash of Manish Malhotra that the ex-partners bumped into one another and they reunited together to click a picture with the host himself.
