Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja have kicked off the last function of their wedding ceremonies with the star-studded wedding reception at Leela, Mumbai. The wedding reception is undoubtedly a starry affair with the most prominent names from the Bollywood industry made it to the guest list. From friends; Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar to cousins, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Mohit Marwah, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor amongst many others are there to shower their blessings on the newly-weds. Starting off to make it the most-memorable night for Sonam and Anand , the first dance performance is a group performance by Sonam’s friends and cousins on the song, Swag Se Swagat from the film, Tiger Zinda Hai and they further continued to groove on Sonam’s song, Gal Mitthi Mitthi from her film, Aisha. Next performance is by none other than Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s father, Anil Kapoor on his iconic dance number, My Name Is Lakhan. Anil is then joined by Arjun Kapoor and they dance on Arjun’s song, Tune Mari Entriyan from his film Gunday. Last but not the least, we have for you is our very enthusiastic director who is so passionate for dance that without his performance, any Bollywood function is incomplete. We are referring to the owner of Dharma Productions, Karan Johar. As it was stated earlier by a source, Karan shook his legs on Sonam’s song, title track of her film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. After months of speculations, Kapoors and Ahujas released a joint statement which could be read as, “The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives." Post Anand and Sonam’s mehendi ceremony on May 7, 2018, the lovebirds presented their guests with a lovely thank you note which said, "It's a great joy to love & be loved! Dear Family and Friends, we are delighted to have you here as an integral part of our wedding celebration. We are blessed to have each of you in our lives and feel honoured that you have travelled miles to be with us! We hope you your stay and make memories of a lifetime... Love & Luck, Ahuja & Kapoor Families."
