Kapil Sharma Says Daler Mehndi Had Serious Surgery, Minister Accused Him Of Taking 35 Lakh For Event

Kapil Sharma comes to Daler Mehndi's defense
Kapil Sharma shared his thoughts on the whole matter. He rushed to support the Punjabi singer and revealed that people do not know the complete truth. He shared a video of Daler's brother and singer, Mika Singh, on his IG stories and posted a message that hinted that the singer has not been keeping well.
Kapil revealed that Daler had serious surgery, which might be the reason behind his inability to perform. He also highlighted that his slurred speech on stage was attributed to it. He asked people to show kindness, as someone might be going through something big. He even thanked Mika Singh for clarifying the matter. Kapil wrote:
"@thedalermehndiofficial paji went through some serious surgery which people don’t know. All we need is to be a little kinder towards each other. We don’t know what someone is going through. Thank you @mikas ingh paji for the clarification. May God bless Daler paji. We love you, Daler paji."
Kapil also left a message for Daler Mehendi and prayed that he gets strength to recover fast and roar like a lion on stage soon. He even asked people to stop spreading fake news just for views. He added:
"May god give Daler paji strength to recover fast, and he will roar like a lion on stage soon. Shame on people who are spreading this fake news just for some views. God bless Daler paji."
In the video, Mika Singh added that there is a special request to the media to verify the facts before publishing any news. He added that if someone makes allegations without proof, please don't believe the matter blindly. He added that the way Daler Mehndi was treated on stage was disappointing. He noted that a respected minister came on stage and made allegations that the legendary singer was drunk.
Mika Singh added that one should verify the news before publishing any claims and give the artist a chance to share his side of the story. Mika Singh asked whether anyone would have acted that way toward a band like Coldplay.
Mika Singh also added that his brother Daler Mehndi doesn't drink. He has been unwell for the past two years and has been still recovering. Despite this, he continues to perform with his band. For the unversed, Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister and MLA Subodh Uniyal questioned Daler Mehndi for his performance at the Maa Kunjapuri Mela in Tehri Garhwal. They accused him of being disoriented on stage and lip-syncing to his songs.
The minister also accused Daler Mehndi of taking Rs. 35 lakh to come and perform but he was not singing but rather he lip-synced his songs. It was the reason why he expressed his resentment and said:
"He is a big artist. If a big artist doesn’t do justice to their art…He seemed disoriented on stage and didn’t seem to be able to even keep standing. Besides this, he was only lip-syncing to his songs. I told him that he is a big artist and he should do justice to his art; he had been offered Rs. 35 lakh to come and perform, but he was not even singing. So, I expressed my resentment."
