Yes, Indian comedian Kapil Sharma and his long-time girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath are getting married on December 12, 2018 in Jalandhar. Kapil and Ginni's pre-wedding functions have already begun with their mehendi ceremony. The first pictures are out and social media is going crazy now. Even though we haven't been able to catch the first glimpse of our favourite jodi, yet the mehendi pictures are now viral, and the decor of the venue speaks volumes of the grandeur of Kapil and Dinni's wedding function. A source shared with Mumbai Mirror, “The celebrations will kick off with a Mata ka jagran at Kapil’s sister’s residence on December 10. This will be followed by a mehendi and sangeet ceremony at the bride’s place the next day. A five star has been booked for the big fat Punjabi wedding on December 12. It will be followed by a reception party on December 14 at another five-star in Amritsar.”
One of the first pictures shared by a celebrity attending Kapil and Ginni's wedding was shared earlier in the day by comedian and actor, Krushna Abhishek. Sharing the following picture, he wrote, "All on our way to Amritsar for kapil s marriage, excited and full of energy yeahhhhhh choleee bhatureee tikiii ah ha food in Amritsar and fun with the team."
Earlier, on December 02, 2018, an Akhand Paath ceremony was organised for an auspicious start. Ginni took to Instagram to post beautiful pictures of herself from the paath and captioned it as, “Starting this exciting new phase of my life with blessings of Waheguruji n my loved ones.” Here is the picture:
Do you know, as per latest reports, Kapil and Ginni's wedding will be streamed LIVE on the comedian's YouTube channel. On December 6, 2018, a video was shared on Kapil's YouTube channel, featuring Kapil's friend Zora Randhawa, and it stated that starting from December 11, the highlights from Kapil and Ginni's pre-wedding ceremonies and shaadi will be shared on this channel. Kapil recently took to Instagram to announce his wedding with Ginni with the following invitation. The statement could be read as, "With great joy in our hearts and blessings of our parents, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ginni and I will embark on a new journey of love, respect, and togetherness on 12th of December 2018. We would like to thank each and every one who has been a part of our wonderful sojourn and seek the best wishes and prayers of our loved ones. Lots of love."
Talking about his wedding, Kapil recently shared with Hindustan Times, “Maine shaadi rokne ki bahut koshish ki, par kuch nahin hua (laughs). Jokes apart, I am ecstatic to be with Ginni and I know this marriage will be a huge change in my life. Discipline aayega. She takes good care of me and is a huge support in my life. People like me are surrounded by many people at work or events or otherwise, but when you come home, ghar khali lagta hai."
