Kangana Ranaut is currently leading the headlines as her recently released film, Tejas, tanked at the box office. However, the actress has been beaming with happiness on the personal front and is busy enjoying some quality time with her family in Himachal Pradesh. Kangana and her family hosted a small puja on the thirteenth day of her nephew, Ashwatthama's birth, and the loving bua dropped glimpses of the same.
On November 1, 2023, Kangana Ranaut dropped a series of pictures from her nephew, Ashwatthamas Gantrala ceremony on her IG handle. For the ceremony, the little one was dressed in a white-hued kurta-pyjama and was seen wearing a gold chain around his neck. He was sleeping peacefully, while his parents, Aksht and Ritu performed the rituals of the puja.

In yet another glimpse, we can see Kangana Ranaut caressing her nephew's teeny tiny hands and looking fondly at him. She was dressed in a pink saree and left her curly locks open. Alongside the pictures, Kangana penned a note, revealing the significance of the Gantrala ceremony in the Himachali tradition. She shared that this ceremony is hosted by the family on the thirteenth day of the child’s birth, after which the baby is free to go out of his house. Her note can be read as:
"In Himachal we have a tradition of Gantrala, a small Pooja hosted by the family on the thirteenth day of the child’s birth. It is Ashwatthama’s Gantrala today now he is free to go out of his house and meet the world."
It was on October 20, 2023, that Kangana Ranaut shared a series of pictures from the hospital to announce the arrival of her brother, Aksht Ranaut's baby boy. The newbie bua dropped some memorable glimpses and revealed the face of her nephew. The baby boy was seen sleeping peacefully wrapped in a white-hued cotton swaddle while his family members looked at him fondly. Dressed in a pink-hued saree and a matching blouse, Kangana looked the happiest as she held her nephew in her arms and met him for the first time.

Alongside the pictures, Kangana Ranaut penned a long note in Hindi and revealed her nephew's meaningful name. In her note, the actress revealed that her bhai-bhabhi, Aksht and Ritu were blessed with a cute little baby boy and the entire Ranaut family is elated. She also shared that they have named the little one Ashwatthama Ranaut and asked her fans to shower their love and blessings on the newborn baby.
For the unversed, Aksht Ranaut and his wife, Ritu, tied the knot in November 2020 in Manali. It was on July 23, 2023, when Kangana Ranaut shared lovely glimpses of her bhabhi, Ritu's Godh Bharai ceremony. The then-bua-to-be, Kangana looked stunning in a rani pink saree paired with statement emerald jewellery. Meanwhile, Ritu opted for a stunning red silk saree with gold motifs as she flaunted her baby bump. On the other hand, Aksht looked dapper in a beige-toned kurta.
