Kangana Ranaut is making the most of this time when the world is almost 'voluntarily shut down' on account of the dreadful global pandemic. Being in the lap of hills and lakes, Kangana makes sure to enjoy her time around nature and is often spotted on outdoor family picnics. Kangana has been in the news for quite some time now owing to her firm stand on unveiling Sushant Singh Rajput's perpetrators. On July 4, 2020, Kangana's sister, Rangoli Chandel had shared beautiful pictures of their family picnic on her IG handle. She had also put a 'sister appreciation' note alongside the pictures as it was Kangana who had procured the permission fo a family outing. Rangoli's note could be read as "On our parents request Kangana planned a picnic for the family, before the rains here they wanted to enjoy summer outdoors, even though we are in green zone but it was a long a tedious process to get permissions, thanking all the authorities in Himanchal to help us with required permissions, it was a much needed family outing."
Kangana Ranaut's team shared some pictures of her family get- together wherein she and her family can be seen enjoying a traditional meal. Kangana's note alongside the pictures can be read as "My parents are very kind to organise this traditional meal called Dham for me, that's where I grew up nothing has changed, in summers we ate sitting on the floor and slept on the terrace, it was wonderful to be in a joint Family and nice to visit them again - KR."
Kangana Ranaut has been in Kullu Manali, ever since the onset of the global pandemic and she is spending her time with her sister, Rangoli Chandel and her cute nephew, Prithvi. On August 11, 2020, Rangoli had shared pictures of Kangana's unplanned picnic with family. Rangoli had revealed that they were heading to their parents' home in Mandi and her son, Prithvi had insisted on having a mini-picnic. She had written, "On our way to our parents' house from Kullu Manali to Mandi, on Prithvi's insistence we had a little picnic on the way." Earlier, Rangoli had posted a cool picture with her sister, Kangana and their bua ji. The three ladies could be seen striking a pose donning caps and the room was interestingly enough, full of caps. Solving the mystery of the same, Rangoli had revealed in her caption that the caps belonged to their phupha ji as he is an ex-serviceman. Her caption could be read as "Pahadi angles, at Bua ji house our Phupha ji is an ex serviceman, posing with his caps… Jai Hind.."
Kangana had taken out some time to visit her naani in July, and the pictures from her trip were viral on social media. On July 19, 2020, Rangoli Chandel had posted beautiful pictures on her Instagram handle from her sister, Kangana Ranaut's visit to their naani's house at Sadhot in Himachal Pradesh. The Queen actress could be seen wearing a purple kurta and salwar, while her naani had donned a white kurta and salwar, laughing their hearts out while having a conversation. The other picture had stolen the show as it had featured a mouth-watering pahadi delicacy, the famous 'Raai ke patto ke pakode'. Along with the pictures, Rangoli had written, "Kangana went to her Nani house today in Sadhot, a little village in Himanchal Pardesh."
