Manish Naggdev and Sirshty Rode were head-over-heels in love with each other at one point. In fact, they had also exchanged rings but fate had other plans. Reportedly, Srishty Rode's growing closeness during her stay inside the Bigg Boss 12 house with Rohit Suchanti was the reason why Manish parted ways with Srishty. It came as a shock to all of us when the couple had confirmed their breakup a few months ago. And then yesterday, on June 07, 2019, Manish Naggdev took the bold step to share his feelings on social media by writing an open letter. Manish Naggdev is best friends with television actress, Kamya Panjabi. And Kamya has come out in the open to talk about Manish and Sirshty's brouhaha. Speaking to SpotboyE, Kamya was quoted as saying, "Well, I am glad that he spoke about it. It is always better that you get the load off the chest, Else, it can have adverse effects on you. Ask me, jis par beetti hai, uski ko malum. I myself was in severe depression for 2 years."
Kamya Panjabi was headed to Manish Naggdev's house during her interview with SpotboyE as he wasn't in a healthy state. Kamya revealed to the tabloid, "I am headed to Manish’s house. He is not in good shape. Imagine it (Manish and Srishty's breakup) happened over just a phone call!." Elaborating further about the phone call, the 39-year-old actress added, "This phone call happened 4 days after Srishty came out of Bigg Boss 12. She simply told him that she’s detached, which clearly meant ‘it’s all over between us’."
Kamya also shared that Manish's family has not taken it well and are heavily disturbed themselves, "Srishty and Manish had even had done a roka. It was all official. They were so close. It was such a family affair. They also are in a state of shock."
On being asked if Manish Naggdev's allegations on Srishty Rode that she used him for personal and professional gains are true, Kamya Panjabi replied, "That is not for me to answer. Manish would be the right person to divulge more on this. Lekin sach poocho, it’s good that they broke up now and not after marriage. It would’ve then disturbed Manish far more; he’s a very sensitive and loyal person. No. But I did tell him that he needs to overcome the break-up, even if it demanded counselling. Kamya Panjabi had come out in full support for Manish Naggdev when he had posted his open letter on Instagram. Kamya had commented on the post, "Yes, it is so important to talk, to share... Everyone has limits! Sometimes u bend, sometimes u feel crushed, but one day u reach that point where enuf is enuf! If you love someone with all your heart, their actions are affecting you in negative ways there has to be a line when u say "enough" I m glad u are venting it all out! God bless you, my friend!"
Manish Naggdev's open letter broke the headlines yesterday. In the long open letter, Manish had penned down that he wanted to express his feelings with his fans and supporters, "PICHLI BAAR PYAAR MEIN LIKHA THA IS BAAR HOSH MEIN LIKH RAHA HOON. My dear fans, supporters, and followers must be wondering about my silence about my personal life in the last few months and ow while reading this you must be curious why? So let me tell you- I decided to express my feelings about the anguish I have gone through openly today despite being expected to "man-up" and stay silent because even if some people think I am stupid to talk about it please don’t forget MEN-JUST LIKE WOMEN HAVE DEEP FEELINGS."
Manish had further written that Srishty Rode never gave him closure on their relationship, "I have reached my tipping point today and I am tired of avoiding my families, friends and fans. I didn’t speak to you before about this because I was still unsure until recently about the status of my relationship with my partner. But what can I do? She hadn’t given me a proper closure after a 4-year relationship in which I involved her in every aspect of my life, family and my personal career. She had broken up with me over a phone call and when I had asked her if we could talk about it face to face, she replied saying, "I am at the peak of my career I don’t wish to be in this relationship anymore and as it is I am detached, what is left to talk about?"
Manish's open latter could further be read as, "That was a sudden shock to me. How could my fiance break the relationship which was heading towards marriage over a single phone call? After that, there was complete silence from her forever. Don’t you think the least I deserve was a proper closure?”
In an earlier interview with the Bombay Times, Manish Naggdev had confirmed about his breakup with Srishty Rode. He had revealed, "Srishty and I are not together anymore. I don’t wish to give a reason because there is none in particular. All I can say is, minor disagreements and difference of opinion led to it. We were expecting different things from each other. Around three weeks ago, we realised that things were not working out as expected. So, we discussed the future of our relationship and decided that it was better to part ways. I have immense love and respect for Srishty and I will always cherish the time spent with her."
