Kaley Cuoco recently gave fans a look at her fiesta-themed baby shower on August 16, 2026. Notably, this is her second child with her partner, Tom Pelphrey. She posted a photo with her 3-year-old daughter Matilda in matching outfits on her Instagram Story. She even shared other snaps featuring attendees Lacey Chabert, Kimberly J. Brown, Amy Davidson and Ashley Jones. While Kaley has been engaged to Tom since 2022, she was previously married to Karl Cook.
Kaley Cuoco once claimed that her marriage with Karl Cook was unconventional
Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook announced their split on September 3, 2021. In a joint statement to E! News, they said the decision was made together, with a great deal of respect and consideration. They explained that despite having deep love and respect for each other, they had realized their current paths were leading them in different directions.
They added that while they would have preferred to keep the personal matter private, they felt it was important to be open about it since they had shared much of their journey publicly.
Over the years, Cuoco had described their marriage as very unconventional. In an August 2019 interview with E! News, she noted that they often lived apart and were not together every day, and said that arrangement worked well for them and felt important personally.
Kaley also spoke about not wanting to rush things during a November 2019 appearance on Brad Goreski’s Brad Behavior podcast. She said they each had separate lives that came together, and that he was supportive and let her be herself while she did the same for him. She added that it was the best relationship she had been in and hoped that it would last, and that was the only reason of them taking things slow.

Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook made their romance official in 2016. The former couple got engaged in November 2017 and exchanged vows in June 2018 at a horse farm in San Diego. The pair bonded over rescue horses and a shared love of animals, often running their charity, Horse Rescue Unites.
Back in February 2026, Kaley recalled her split from Karl and their marriage. She even opened up on hitting a breaking point the next year during their divorce proceedings. While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, she said:
“It was the premiere of the second season of Flight Attendant, and I woke up that morning, I was so depressed and so sad, I couldn't even breathe and I was just laying on the floor. I literally thought I was gonna die. I really did. I said, ‘What am I doing?”
Kaley stated that her despair was so overwhelming that she almost skipped the red carpet at the last minute. She recalled that her team came to get her ready and ended up doing it while she was on the floor because she couldn’t get up. She told them she couldn’t go anywhere, felt she had ruined her life, and believed it was over. At the time, she also thought she would never get married again or have kids.
Before Karl Cook, Kaley Cuoco was married to Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016. Notably, Kaley was last seen in an episode of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, which was released on July 23, 2026.
