Bollywood actress, Kajol needs no introduction as she has showcased her acting prowess in many Hindi films. Currently, she has been garnering a lot of appreciation for her power-packed performance in the series, Lust Stories 2, while gearing up for her legal drama, The Trial. Ahead of the show's release, Kajol opened up about many things in her life and recalled her daughter, Nysa's first encounter with the paps.
In an interview with NDTV, Kajol opened up about the paparazzi culture and shared her daughter, Nysa's experience of dealing with the paparazzi. Talking about the same, she shared the first time Nysa was spotted by the paparazzi in Jaipur when Kajol's baby girl was two years old. Recalling the incident, Kajol revealed that Nysa ended up crying, Kajol said:
"It was when Nysa was two years. We had gone to Jaipur and at that time we did not travel with security. The paparazzi came, 20-25 of them came and surrounded us and started yelling. Nysa burst out crying at that time. She was only 2. I just picked her up and I just walked straight into the car. I told her that these people mean you no harm, it's just their work so don't worry about it."

Further Kajol was asked if she gave any tips to Nysa on how to deal with the paparazzi, the actress said that she has kept both her kids, Nysa and Yug, away from the limelight. However, Kajol added that her children learnt through experience, which was greater than whatever she taught them. In her words:
"If you have noticed I have kept my children away from it. They have learnt through experience. Whatever they have learnt through experience cannot be greater than whatever I teach them."
Kajol's daughter, Nysa is one of the most popular starkids in Tinseltown, and she often gets spotted hanging out with her friends in the city. In the same interview, Kajol heaped praises on Nysa for the way she deals with the paparazzi and shared that she feels that her daughter has learnt to handle the paparazzi culture with a lot of grace and dignity. However, revealing that she could have never done it if she were in Nysa's shoes. Kajol said:
"Nysa has learned from her own experience. I have to say, she is handling it very very well. She is handling it with a lot more grace and dignity."

Nysa Devgan is one of the most popular star kids, who is the paparazzi's favourite. On April 13, 2023, Nysa was spotted by the paps as she stepped out for dinner with her close friend, Orhan Awatramani. As soon as the shutterbugs spotted her, they started calling out her name. However, Nysa apparently got irked and shouted at the paps as they pronounced her name wrongly. She was heard saying:
“Mera naam Nysa hai."
