However, in an interview, the doting mommy, Kajol provided her kids with advice on how to deal with trolling, and it's simply praiseworthy.

For the uninformed, on August 5, 2023, Kajol marked her 49th birthday. And on this special day, she has a message for her kids, Nysa and Yug, about the online trolling that they face. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kajol was asked about her daughter, Nysa, often being the target of massive backlash. To this, Kajol shared that she tells her children not to pay much attention to this and to use their own brains. Kajol also mentioned that this message is not only for her kids but for every other one who faces social media trolls. Kajol can be quoted as saying:
"Please don’t pay so much attention to it. Think for yourself, use your own brain."
Kajol added that she keeps talking to her kids, Nysa and Yug, about these online trolls and asks them to take it with a pinch of salt. The actress shared that she advised her children to have a bit sense of humour and not to take this trolling seriously. Kajol also added that it's not possible to give a befitting reply to every other troll, as people are going to talk about anything and everything. The iconic actress also added that she feels trolling someone for wearing a pair of shoes to the airport is too much. Talking about the same, Kajol shared:
"I read some headlines that say ‘brutally trolled’. And I’m like, ‘What does it exactly mean and who are these people brutally trolling me or my family?’ Also, saying that an actor got brutally trolled for wearing a pair of shoes and going to the airport is like too much. One has to take it with a pinch of salt and have that bit of sense of humour."

There's no denying the fact that Kajol is a doting mommy, and proof of the same can often be found. However, earlier in a conversation with ETimes, Kajol talked about the online trolling her daughter, Nysa often receives. The actress stated that it bothers her when her daughter gets trolled on social media. She also mentioned that 75 per cent of the internet is taken by trolling, and it’s like one is not famous till they are trolled. The diva also shared that it actually affects her to see her kid getting so much hate on the internet, but there's a certain level that one can take it seriously.
