Kajal Aggarwal had made her acting debut in 2004 with the Hindi film, Kyu! Ho Gaya Na and her first Telugu release was Lakshmi Kalyanam in 2007. But the 2009 Telugu film, Magadheera marked as the turning point of her life, for which she was critically acclaimed. Since then, there has been no looking back for the stunning actress. On October 30, 2020, Kajal had gotten married to the love of her life, interior designer, Gautam Kitchlu in both Punjabi and Kashmiri rituals. Since then, Kajal has been enjoying every moment of her marital life and sharing glimpses of the same.
On December 9, 2020, Kajal took to her IG handle and shared adorable pictures from her wedding to wish her father. In the first picture, Kajal’s father can be seen kissing the groom, Gautam on his head while embracing his daughter. The picture is overwhelmed with emotions. She shared other candid pictures with her papa from her wedding functions. Along with the pictures, Kajal wrote a heartmelting wish which can be read as “When pictures speak a 1000 words. We love you papa. Happiest birthday!”
On November 3, 2020, Kajal Aggarwal's sister, Nisha Aggarwal had shared an emotional post for Kajal. She had taken to her IG handle and had shared a monochrome picture from Kajal’s wedding with Gautam and had penned a heart-melting note. Her note can be read as “I don’t know what it is about weddings and the fact that the girl is going to leave her parents house. I have been married 7 years and lived away, @kajalaggarwalofficial has been at shoot most of her life and has lived away. Still the fact that she isn’t going to live at our parents house anymore made us so emotional. In an interview with ETimes, Kajal had revealed the one condition she had laid before tying the knot with beau, Gautam. Taking about the same, the stunning actress had stated that she asked Gautam to go down on his knees and propose her in the most romantic manner. In her words, she had shared, “I told him I was not going to marry him until he went down on his knees.” And Gautam had revealed that he thought it to be cheesy and had said, “I thought that was really cheesy and filmi. But she said I had to do it the proper way.”
When probed what was the most romantic thing Gautam has ever done, Kajal had revealed that the proposal was the only romantic thing he has ever done for her. Revealing how non-filmy her husband is, Kajal had stated, “Yes, He is the most non-filmi person I have ever met. He doesn’t even watch movies until I make him sit down and look at the screen. So, he is very unconventional that way.”
For the uninitiated, Kajal Aggarwal's husband, Gautam Kitchlu is the founder of Discern Living and is an interior, tech and design enthusiast. Discern Living is an e-commerce venture for interior design and home decor solutions. In a candid conversation with the Vogue India, Kajal Aggarwal had talked about her love story with hubby, Gautam Kitchlu. Sharing how they had gotten to know about each other through their mutual friends, she had said, "Gautam and I dated for about three years, and then we were friends for seven. We have progressed in every stage of being friends and been very important in each other's lives."
