Kailash Kher was in Rishikesh during that time, and he jumped into the river Ganga in an attempt to end his life. However, a gentleman too jumped into the river to save him. The man then pulled him to the coast and scolded him for trying to end his life this way. After this incident, Kailash Kher locked himself up in his room and tried to communicate with god to show him the purpose of his life.
Kailash Kher revealed that his wife, Sheetal, is 11 years younger than him, and the two met through mutual friends. She was a confident urban columnist while he was a shy aspiring musician. However, the two started hanging out together and fell in love. The couple is blessed with a baby boy, Kabir.
