Kabir Bedi is one such actor whose personal life has frequently grabbed the headlines. Well, he is infamously labelled by everyone as a casanova, owing to his four marriages. Moreover, until sometime back, it was his strained relationship with his daughter, Pooja Bedi that grabbed all the limelight. For the unversed, the latter had publicly shamed her father for getting married to Parveen Dusanj, who was about her age. However, fast forward to now, it seems that the three of them have reconciled, and we recently came across proof of the same.
Kabir Bedi was recently bestowed with the most senior civilian honour in Italy, called the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. The award was presented to the actor at the Gateway Of India, Mumbai and Kabir made sure to attend the special event with his family. Taking to his IG handle, Kabir dropped heartwarming glimpses of his achievement, as he was accompanied by his better half, Parveen Dusanj. Moreover, his daughter, Pooja Bedi also marked her attendance for her father’s special day, along with her son, Omar and her daughter, Alaya. The glimpses surely proved that the family have let bygones be bygones and has normalised their equations.

It was in 2016 when Kabir Bedi startled everyone with his decision to get married for a fourth time to his longtime girlfriend, Parveen Dusanj. While many were taken aback, it was his daughter, Pooja Bedi (from his first marriage to Protima Bedi), who didn’t like his stance. Taking to Twitter (now known as X), Pooja had penned a soured note for her father, expressing her dislike for her step-mother, Parveen. She had written:
“Every fairy tale has a wicked witch or an evil step-mother! Mine just arrived! @iKabirBedi just married @parveendusanj.”
While Pooja might have deleted the hurtful post and later replaced it with a congratulatory note for his father, nevertheless, these didn’t skip the eye of Kabir Bedi. In his response, the actor, too, expressed his dissatisfaction with hearing such words from his daughter. He wrote:
“DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED by venomous comments by my daughter Pooja against @parveendusanj just after we married. NO excuse for bad behaviour."

In one of his previous revelations on Jashn-E-Rekhta’s YouTube channel, Kabir Bedi had opened up on receiving the tag of a womaniser. The actor revealed how nobody really understood the tumultuous time he faced behind each one of his failed relationships. He had mentioned:
“People think he has had many marriages, many divorces, he must be a ladies man. And I can see why people would think so. The truth is that all the relationships I’ve had, none of them were one night stands. They were all long relationships of 6, 7, 8 years. Two relationships lasted for 15 years. None of them were quickies. These were all long and significant relationships and I have learnt a lot from them.”
