Lee Min-Ho was on a break after the release of his last drama, Pachinko and was recently spotted in Thailand for an event. However, what grabbed netizens' eyeballs was the actors' swollen face. After quite a long break, Lee Min-Ho appeared in front of the masses and looked visibly different. Actor, Lee Min-Ho was invited as the chief guest and speaker at the Merz Aesthetic Expo, in Thailand, where the actor spoke about confidence and how every individual is unique in their own way. The actor’s face looked swollen, and his cheeks were puffy. This grabbed the attention of all his fans, where some trolled him for not keeping himself in shape, and some jumped into his defence and called the actor ‘cute’.

A fan pointed out that Lee Min-Ho looked flabby at the event because he was wearing all white. The fan blamed his stylist for dressing him up in an unflattering outfit and even compared his current appearance to his last. Lee Min-Ho was last spotted at a luncheon where the actor was in an all-black ensemble and looked chiselled. Some trolled the actor for not ageing well, while his fans acknowledged that actors are humans as well, and they gain weight, and there is nothing wrong with it.
This is not the first time that the actor has sparked a debate over his weight gain. It has been a pattern where Lee Min-Ho gains weight between project breaks. The actor last shot for his drama in 2022 and, ever since then, he has been enjoying his short break before he starts shooting for his upcoming projects. Lee Min-Ho has been trolled numerous times for gaining weight, but his loyal fans have always supported him through all his ups and downs.

Lee Min-Ho is all set to appear in his next space-romance drama, Ask The Stars. The drama is a romantic comedy about an astronaut and a tourist who fall in love at a space station. Lee Min-Ho is paired opposite actress, Gong Hyo Jin. The drama's shooting is over and is currently in its post-production stage. Fans are excitedly waiting for Lee Min-Ho’s first project after his three years long break. Apart from this, the actor will soon begin the shooting for Pachinko season 2.
