One of the most loved South Indian couples, Suriya and Jyotika, have been together for more than 18 years. They're parents of two adorable kids, Diya and Dev. Despite the couple never missing a chance to paint the town red with their camaraderie and love for each other, a while back, there were rumours that Suriya and Jyotika hit troubles in their marriage. Reports were claiming the actress shifted to Mumbai along with her kids due to her conflict with Suriya. Now, Jyotika dismissed all such rumours and clarified the real reason behind her shifting her base to Mumbai.
As per a report in News 18, Jyotika has shifted to Mumbai due to her work commitments, and her and Suriya's children, Diya and Dev's education. For the unversed, the actress took a 5-year-long break from acting after her wedding, but she made a comeback to the silver screens in 2015. The actress is currently quite selective in choosing her films, and is keeping herself focused on South cinema. However, Jyotika also signed multiple films in Hindi. In her latest conversation, Jyotika opened up about the speculation and mentioned that the main reason behind the relocation is her busy schedule with Hindi films.

On the work front, Jyotika will be next seen in the Hindi films, including Shaitaan, Sri, and DabbaCartel. Moreover, her kids have joined schools in Mumbai as they stepped into higher education. In addition, Jyotika also mentioned that her husband, Suriya always wishes to see his wife and kids happy. Thus, by praising him, the doting wife revealed how he prioritises the well-being of his close ones. The loving wife also praised Suriya for being a supportive husband.
Earlier, in another conversation with a Tamil media outlet, Jyotika was asked about the rumours suggesting problems between her and her in-laws. To this, Jyothika emphasised how, after marriage, women often find it challenging to prioritise the care of their parents amidst various responsibilities. Thus, to take care of her parents and spend quality time with them, Jyotika decided to move to Mumbai temporarily. The actress clarified:
“There is no other reason; it is a temporary change, and we are not going to Mumbai permanently.”

Suriya and Jyotika often take their kids, Dev and Diya, for vacations despite their hectic work schedule. Being avid social media users, they keep teasing their fans with happy glimpses of the same. For instance, the couple once shared a video from their family trip to a scenic location in Costa Rica. In the video, we could spot Jyotika's loving husband, Suriya and their children, Dev and Diya, enjoying their time in Costa Rica. The video also featured some picturesque scenes that were truly breathtaking. Suriya also shared the video on his Instagram stories, as it was quite special for him and his wife, Jyotika. For the unknown, the video was edited by their daughter, Diya. Along with this video, the doting mother penned a note in the caption, and it could be read as:
