Julianne Hough is one of the most renowned actresses and dancers of our time. Many might not be aware, but she made her acting debut with the famous 2001 film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Julianne's breakthrough role came years later, in 2010, with Burlesque. In addition to her acting career, she is also a well-known host. Following her stint on Dancing with the Stars, where she initially appeared as a pro dancer, Julianne returned to the show as a co-host for its 32nd, 33rd, and 34th seasons.
Recently, Julianne Hough turned heads when she appeared on the biggest New Year's Eve broadcast in America, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. For the unversed, she co-hosted the 2026 program alongside ex-boyfriend, Ryan Seacrest. This marked their first reunion in over a decade. The duo dated briefly for three years, from 2010 to 2013. It is worth noting that Julianne has dated many other recognisable names in the industry apart from Ryan Seacrest. If you are interested in knowing her complete dating history, then keep on reading!

Julianne Hough's first relationship was with her childhood friend, Zack Wilson. When she moved to Los Angeles at 18 years of age in 2007, she revealed the same and even stated that they were engaged. Apparently, he was "a guy I knew from Utah who served a Mormon mission."

Julianne and Zack's engagement did not come to fruition, as by May of the same year, the pair had decided to postpone their wedding, which was scheduled for August 2007. Clarifying their decision, Julianne said at the time that they are still together but just want more time before taking the step towards marriage. Though she reassured everyone that "it's all good," by November 2007, Julianne and Zack had officially split up. Even after they broke up, Julianne called him a "great guy" she had known since she was 9 years old. Their decision not to go ahead with the wedding was simply because the actress needed more time to figure herself out.

The Dancing with the Stars alum was pretty quick to move on from her childhood love. Just a year after her split from Zack, Julianne got into a relationship with country music star, Chuck Wicks. According to reports, Julianne met her new man while touring with Brad Paisley in 2008. In August of that year, she told People that Chuck was a great guy, not only that, he was also “awesome and really, really talented.” She claimed that she was having a jolly time getting to know the country icon. A couple of months later, Chuck also confessed that the two were “very much in love.” At one point, the duo even talked about marriage.

In March 2009, Chuck showed his support for girlfriend, Julianne Hough, by famously appearing on Dancing with the Stars as her celebrity partner. Although their relationship seemed to be going strong on the surface, they ended their relationship in November 2009. A source close to the couple told People at the time that their split was “mutual”. They even went on to attend the CMA Awards together after their breakup but almost a decade later, in 2020, Chuck Wicks, on his podcast, revealed that their breakup was far more dramatic behind the scenes and that he was only making an effort to appear fine in public even though he “didn't really like her at the time.”

Julianne Hough sparked dating rumours with comedian, Dane Cook in 2010. The couple was spotted having dinner in March of that year after Julianne attended one of Dane's comedy shows. If reports are to be believed, the two were seen kissing after the show, and “they quickly left together.” Some days after this, Julianne Hough and Dane Cook were seen spending time together again in West Hollywood, California. To mention, neither of them has publicly confirmed or acknowledged their relationship.
Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest's romance began in the summer of 2010. Although, according to the actress, they had been flirting since way before they got together. The duo first met when Julianne, who was still in a relationship with Chuck Wicks, appeared with her boyfriend on Ryan's radio show. Recalling the time, Julianne said:
"The interview's on YouTube, and I blush when I hear it because Ryan is hitting on me the entire time! At the end, Ryan said something like, 'You guys really have something special!' And I thought to myself, 'He's so full of s— right now!' When Chuck and I broke up, I wanted to be single. That lasted five months. Then Ryan and I went on a date."

After they started dating, Julianne often publicly praised Ryan Seacrest for being “really romantic.” On multiple occasions, she even stated that she was lucky to be in such a great relationship. The way their relationship was going eventually led to engagement rumours. Unfortunately, despite this, Julianne and Ryan broke up in March 2013, allegedly due to their busy work schedules.

After her breakup with Ryan, Julianne Hough was rumoured to be in a relationship with Academy Award-winning director, Ari Sandel. They were first spotted having dinner at the Nobh restaurant in Los Angeles. Later, they were photographed together again, leaving the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California. To note, neither Julianne nor Ari Sandel ever confirmed their relationship.
As per reports, Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich started dating in 2013 after being introduced by a mutual friend. Although the duo lived on different coasts (Julianne in LA and Brooks in Washington, DC) and had difficulty meeting up regularly, they started communicating by phone. A few years later, in August 2015, Julianne and the former hockey player got engaged. They tied the knot in July 2017. After years of marital bliss, Julianne Hough and Brooks announced that they were ending their relationship in May 2020, a decision which came as a shock to many. Their divorce was finalised in 2022.
