The most loved actor of B-town is none other than Salman Khan. The actor has been widely loved for his acting skills for decades. Salman had been in several high-profile relationships, but none of them resulted in marriage. Salman Khan often faced questions like when he will get married or when he will be settled. However, the actor made it pretty clear that he does not believe in the institute of marriage. But recently, an old video of Salman Khan expressing his desire to marry Bollywood actress, Juhi Chawla is doing rounds on the internet. Now, finally, Juhi Chawla has reacted to it.
Actress, Juhi Chawla finally reacted to the old viral video where Salman Khan was seen confessing his desire to marry her. Now in an interview with News 18, laughing it off, Juhi Chawla stated, during that time, she had only started her career, and Salman was not 'The Salman' back then. She also revealed she didn't know anyone from the industry, not Salman and not even Aamir Khan, which is why she had to say no to a film that had Salman Khan as a lead actor. The actress then shared that till now, Salman Khan does not leave a scope to remind her that she didn't do films with him. Juhi Chawla further added, although she didn't do films with Salman Khan, they did a lot of stage shows. Juhi Chawla's words can be read as:
"Back in the day, when I had just started out in my career, and when Salman was not THE Salman Khan, a film had come my way that had him in the lead actor. In fact, I didn’t know anyone properly back then – not him, not Aamir (Khan, actor) or anyone else in the industry. Incidentally, I couldn’t do the film because of some issue. And to this day, he doesn’t leave one chance to remind me of it! ‘You didn’t do the film with me,’ he keeps saying! We hardly worked on films together but we did a lot of stage shows. He had a cameo in Deewana Mastana."

An old video from the 1990s, which is being surfaced on the internet, showed Salman Khan expressing sweet words for Juhi Chawla. He called the actress 'sweet and adorable'. Further in the interview, Salman Khan was heard saying that Juhi's father refused his proposal to marry her, and Salman didn't know why. The actor said:
"She's a very sweet, adorable girl. I toh asked her father if you let her get married to me. He refused. Maybe I don't fit the bill I guess… pata nahi kya chahiye unko."

Salman Khan and Juhi Chawla began careers in Bollywood almost at the same time. Juhi Chawla entered Bollywood by making her debut in the 1988 movie, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak; Salman first debuted in the 1988 film, Biwi Ho To Aisi. The duo never appeared together on the silver screen. However, they used to do stage shows together. However, Salman Khan made a cameo entry in Juhi Chawla's film, Deewana Mastana. The film also starred Anil Kapoor and Govinda.
Juhi Chawla won the Miss India title in 1984 and got married to industrialist, Jay Mehta in 1995. The duo is blessed with two children, a daughter Jhanvi Mehta and a son, Arjun Mehta. However, the actress was last seen in the 2022 Prime Video thriller series Hush Hush.
Currently, Salman Khan is busy promoting the much-awaited film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which will hit the theatres on April 21, 2023. On April 10, 2023, the trailer was launched. The film is a massive comeback for the actor on the big screen after four years.
